Texting? Watching porn? Having feelings for someone else? Curious to know what your boundaries are.

Justhereforthepoostories....is that sex, rimming or fisting?

gillybeanz · 13/06/2018 14:26

Anything that somebody does or thinks that they are unable to discuss with their partner.
Something you can't be open about, you have to hide it.
People have boundaries and these will vary between individuals.

There are a lot of journo's about today, you don't expect get a wide view from Mnet, surely.

Cheating...sexting, kissing, lying about spending time with another woman, sex

Inappropriate....anything that wouldn't be said or done in front of me

Fenwickdream · 13/06/2018 14:29

Anything involving another person of opp sex that they have to lie to you about. But at this point you have to stop and ask yourself if your jealousy is causing the lies. For example if your husband texts a work colleague with banter but deletes them because you're a nutter and have form for thinking you own him- that's your problem. If your husband is sending texts that need to be deleted and you have no form for crazy jealousy then he is cheating. That's my opinion. Cheating is when you fancy someone else and that develops in a way that you need to start keeping secrets from your partner.

acknowledging that other women exist

Not really but I've seen some posts here that would consider that cheating Hmm

BadTasteFlump · 13/06/2018 14:56

What's tromboning? Or do I want to know? I'm still getting over Dragon Butter Shock

BestZebbie · 13/06/2018 15:00

I think the best definition I've come across is:
Diverting resources (time, money, emotional engagement, etc) outside the monogamous partnership, with a sexual nature or atmosphere.

So being very expensively into marathon running isn't cheating (no sex), but having sex with someone else is cheating (has sexual nature), an emotional affair of steamy texts with no physical contact is cheating (time, sexual atmosphere). The definition also makes purchased porn cheating (money), which is sometimes challenged on the grounds that the subjects aren't 'real' women/are unaware of the man - except they are real, somewhere, so I'm OK with that not breaking the definition.

me too, although I have an inkling about tromboning :lol

LeighaJ · 13/06/2018 15:11

itis

I'm guessing you can't decide if you've been cheated on or not so want the opinions of strangers on what they class as cheating. If you have to resort to this then yes you were in fact likely cheated on. :/

kerryleigh · 13/06/2018 15:14

OMG! I was so wrong in my beliefs Grin :lol I was clueless! hahaha
