To think my toilet roll is causing my muff to ming?

I'm prone to chronic cystitis and have been for years. At one point my GP put my antibiotics on repeat prescription.

Anyway back to my question. I started with cystitis at the end of last week and got antibiotics within an hour. I took the full course but still didn't feel like it had cleared completely and although not in pain I still have discomfort. It's suddenly occurred to me that at the same time last week I changed my toilet roll to a fancy coconut loo roll.

Anyone else found they have killer loo roll?

We often get the coconut oil ones from Asda, or the shea ones - Must have a ming-resistant-minge - Although paranoid now that I've just been lucky...! Back to Charmin we go...

watch out for the scented pads too if you use them - it is now quite hard to find them without scent in them fgs

This really pisses me off. I always used to buy Always - can't now as they're all scented (even though they don't even say scented on them). I've tried all sorts and they all bloody stink - I've now settled on Lidls own which are definitely not scented and actually pretty decent.

yes that really pisses me off about Always too sensingweakness - they were my favourites!

I also had no idea that scented loo roll was a thing. Can you get beer scented?

flowerslemonade · 05/06/2018 12:41

i don't kno but you can get bacon toilet paper... hehe

flowerslemonade · 05/06/2018 12:44

I'd never heard of reusable loo roll. I may look into it... not sure about the idea but maybe it's better for you?

Kilicat · 05/06/2018 12:47

Look into cheeky wipes / bought as a wet wipe replacement but think they’d be pretty good as loo roll.

abbisisSpartacus

reusable loo roll that made me laugh and wince at the same time oh god just the thought of it blurgh
but a recon in the 'olden days' before loo roll they probably did a cloth that got washed and reused .

Ah shit. I’ve literally just an hour ago bought a big pack of fancy coconut toilet roll. I’m very prone to thrush. I’m worried now Confused

Also a chronic cystitis sufferer.

Just NO to anything scented anywhere near your foof.

And cotton undies only (big cotton granny pants that let a bit of air in are especially good Grin).

Waggingmyginger · 05/06/2018 13:03

Reusable toilet wipes and San it protection are only an improvement if you're not likely to react to any residue washing powder.

Apparently Forumdonkey it's never gone away.

I googled it, out of interest, it still exists and you can still buy it. According to an article in the Independent it isn't quite so hard and the strong smell has gone but yes, it's still around.
