AIBU To think Victoria Beckham is a right mardy, stroppy looking mare. Anybody see the way she was looking out the corner of her eye at the crowds. Not a hint of a smile.

The Queen is very likely to be feeling the bitter sweetness of seeing the future generation brimming with happiness and yet knowing her beloved husband is 96 and may not be with her for much longer. She looked sad yesterday, when previous weddings she looked bright and cheerful.

As I said on another thread, for me Prince Philip was the hero yesterday, walking ramrod straight, no sticks or zimmerframe, determined to walk unaided, and very well too after his hip replacement. What a trooper!

And Charles was the other hero, stepping in to escort Meghan the last few steps of the aisle, taking care of her DM and being an all round good egg.

There's a lot of jealously on here and people going out of their way to slate some one just because she doesn't go around smiling all day? I can't recall seeing the Queen smile much but no ones pointed that out. People can't help the face they were born with.

Jealousy? don't be ridiculous, VB looked absolutely miserable, as she does most days, and people have a right to comment on it without having the old "jealousy" chestnut thrown at them. It's boring and childish. As for the queen not smiling, the thread wasn't about her, if it was i'm sure there'd be plenty in agreement about that too.

No ones expecting VB to go about smiling all day either, in fact you don't have to smile, just have a pleasant expression....she couldn't even manage that. No one wants to see such a sour face on a wedding day.

Honestly i want to like her but she makes it hard! she walked through to her seat like she was a kid who'd been told off and her eyes brimming with tears. Bizarre! Didnt speak one word to david either..wonder if they fell out before hand

I thought queen didn't smile. According to the crown because it hurt her face and gave her spasms? Because she has to do it all the time.

I noticed David dropped vicky to take a photo, left her looking embarrassed when she must have already felt awkward.

It's up to her whether she smiles or not. I also think there was possibly something wrong on the day however as, while she is known for not smiling she does have plenty of photos on her Instagram with a pleasant expression. She did look quite unhappy during the walk and it stuck out like a sore thumb, unfortunately.

I like her. She seems to have quite a good sense of humour.

That's irrelevant GreatDuckCookery. I am not a sleb being discussed on the internet AFAIK. To say people are jealous of VB because they say she looked grumpy is ridiculous.
