To ask how you kiss?

So. Weird q! Im a 24 year old girl, reasonably attractive, have met lots of boys and had “things” but never full sex and not yet had a serious relationship... lots of nights out have ended in drunken songs however and I would consider myself a good kisser I think?! But it got me thinking - what is a good kisser? How do you actually do it?! At the risk of TMI, I normally do the alohabet thing: so when going in will use my tongue to “draw” letters on theirs - stops it being too tonguey and adds some interest. No complaints yet... please help

Please help with what?

MyRelationshipIsWeird · 26/02/2018 23:09

Sounds like you're over-thinking it.

No alphabet or techniques, just do it so it feels nice!

Wellthisisawkward21127 · 26/02/2018 23:12

Ok I am almost certainly overthinking it. I’m not very good at just doing things so they feel nice though - get nervous and self conscious!!

You sure you're a 24 year old girl? Confused

esk1mo · 26/02/2018 23:14

no one ive ever kissed or spoke to about kissing has done the alphabet thing.

its utter bollocks, id be so confused if someone started doing that while kissing me.

Zoflorabore · 26/02/2018 23:15

If a kiss is right it needs no thought.

Everyone kisses differently and I think people adapt to the other person i.e. If one person uses tongues then the other person usually follows suit.

Stop worrying Smile

JeReviens · 26/02/2018 23:16

No 24 year old girl I know - And I know plenty - still refers to partners/love interests as "boys"

Wellthisisawkward21127 · 26/02/2018 23:17

Positive yeah... I just can’t get lost in the moment, i get too self conscious :(

Lol really JeReviens? Well my social circle do - we don’t call them men!!!

Nights out ending in drunken songs?

Step AWAY from the karaoke machine, OP.

Doing alphabet things with your tongue while kissing sounds like the ‘Fave Tip for Romancing Your Guy’ page in Jackie in about 1982.

Crunched · 26/02/2018 23:22

Maybe it's the singing putting them off?
A rousing chorus of 'Roll out the Barrel ' is sure to kill off a budding romance...

Pfftkids · 26/02/2018 23:24

Why wouldn't you call them men?

esk1mo · 26/02/2018 23:25

tbh im mid 20s and call them boys, just habit really.

id maybe say guy, but definitely not men. but then again, i always end up with guys younger than me Smile

FleetwoodSmack · 26/02/2018 23:27

Crunched Grin

Iamagreyhoundhearmeroar · 26/02/2018 23:27

You consider yourself a good kisser... and they ask "How do I do it? Please help"?!
Back in your box.

Pfftkids · 26/02/2018 23:30

esk1mo yeah fair enough I guess I probably did too.

There's just something off about Op 🤔 can't quite work out if they are a big hairy bloke or a kid

esk1mo · 26/02/2018 23:34

pfft i agree, but its more the “alphabet” part - who does that?!

JaneJeffer · 26/02/2018 23:34

Fleetwood tongue wouldn't have been mentioned in Jackie. They would have just said you'll know what to do when it happens and left you wondering Grin

Pfftkids · 26/02/2018 23:39

I've never even heard of alphabet kissing 😂
Personally I prefer the washing machine and Hoover method

TrollTheRespawnJeremy · 26/02/2018 23:59

Clamp on like a lamprey and suck out their essence.

DalekDalekDalek · 27/02/2018 00:10

Going by your description of kissing, I don't think you are old enough!
Is it still half term?

AndNoneForGretchenWieners · 27/02/2018 00:13

I don't if I can help it. I loathe kissing.

alpineibex · 27/02/2018 00:19

I don't kiss. I hate it.

alpineibex · 27/02/2018 00:19

Looks like I'm in company too Smile

alpineibex · 27/02/2018 00:21

No 24 year old girl I know - And I know plenty - still refers to partners/love interests as "boys"

I'm 22 and call myself a 'girl'. Partner is 26, he still gets 'boy'.

I think it's because I don't feel adult yet
