Which theories, dismissed by many as conspiracy theories, do you regard as the truth?

7/7 - The first reports mentioning Old Street and Moorgate only for it later be revealed the Northern Line was the original fourth target has always made me fear they is an element of truth in conspiracy theories.

Likewise with the collapse of WTC7 being reported before it happened by the BBC - standing in front of the skyline with that particular tower still standing behind them. Eeek. Was there ever a good explanation for how that happened?

Amazing. Almost as if multiple explosions on the London transport system caused chaos and confusion.

*Harry is the image of Hewitt. If he's not his dad then it's definitely a huge coincidence.

I’ll just leave this here. Clue... it isn’t Hewitt

Which conspiracy theories do you believe?
Roussette · 18/02/2018 17:03

The only one I'd put my money on is David Kelly, the Weapons of Mass Destruction expert, Iraq war who so say committed suicide. Nope, don't believe it. Think he was bumped off because of what he knew. His hard drive was wiped remotely which is very suspect. There was no autopsy. There was no proper coroners inquest.

Andrewofgg · 18/02/2018 17:04

NASA did not go to the Moon, they went to Mars. It only took five days, not months and months, because they went through the Fourth Dimension, but it was hushed up to protect the oil companies.

John Lennon and Elvis shot JFK from the grassy knoll, and Princess Di is on tour with Shergar and Lord Lucan.

OK, everyone?

DannyLaRuesBestFrock · 18/02/2018 17:04

Also sure jill dando's boyfriend at the time has ended up a very high up doctor who has delivered the royals babies.

Helmetbymidnight · 18/02/2018 17:04

*I don't think men walked on the moon.

If we did why haven't we ever been back? There could be so much to learn from it eg rock analysis about when the moon was formed and what the earth was like at the time. I'm not sure we had the technology either although I may be wrong aboit that*

Are you not embarrassed to come out with such crap?

Littlechocola · 18/02/2018 17:04

David Bowie was the first man on the moon. He went to visit the clangers. Obvious when you think about it.

Backenette · 18/02/2018 17:05

Backenette Then you must also believe that trade centre seven fell down precisely in the same manner as a controlled demolition due to some office fires?

Yes. When the structural core of the building fails, it concertinas down on itself. The same principle is used in controlled demolition to keep the footprint of debris small. A shit ton of jet fuel burning the fireproofing off the steel core is enough to weaken the structure and once that happens it’s like a Domino effect. There are plenty of pretty sound explanations online. Friends who are structural engineers don’t hold to the conspiracy line

How would people be happier if it fell? Massive cartoon explosion or just toppling sideways like a lego tower whacked by a toddler?? Neither physically plausible at all.

The fire had more than enough heat to weaken the core. It doesn’t need to melt, it just has to go beyond certain parameters and it all pancakes in. It’s the most parsimonious explanation.

I do believe there is a nasty web of financial and political interests that deflected the investigation from Saudi and focused it on Iraq, who likely had chuff all to do with it. What people knew before hand, who funded it, who benefitted from it and what they chose or not to investigate after is the real story.

I love threads like this!!!

AnachronisticCorpse · 18/02/2018 17:05

I definiteiy think the people at the top aren’t who we think, and that we are manipulated into believing what they want us to.

These will be incredibly wealthy people and we wouldn’t recognise their names at all. But they pull all the strings.

confusednotcom2 · 18/02/2018 17:05

I’m sure more people died in Grenfell then reported but not because of a cover up. They probably do not know how many people actually lived there.

AngelsSins · 18/02/2018 17:06

I think a few are possible but I don't necessarily believe them:
The first moon landing was faked
Diana was murdered
Area 51

One I think is real, poor Jill Dando and the child abuse ring (just watch The Keepers on Netflix to see how many people will protect these perverts). But the ones I find most entertaining are fake Paul and Beyoncé faking her first pregnancy m.youtube.com/watch?v=LoadSGn5JWY

Pittapatter · 18/02/2018 17:07

Also remember reading that PW and KM had used a surrogate for their babies. Crazy 😜

ChoudeBruxelles · 18/02/2018 17:07

The florists killed Diana (my own made up theory). Think about the sea of flowers outside the palaces and then fit her funeral. The florists must have racked it in

DannyLaRuesBestFrock · 18/02/2018 17:08

100% Beyonce had a surrogate for their 1st child.

Look how different she was during her pregnancy was with the twins. Pictures of her bump all out and proud.

Helmetbymidnight · 18/02/2018 17:09

I'd be really interested if those who don't believe in the moon landings would post their highest level of education or their professional work experience.

Because I too have a rather interesting theory...

Bodies?

theloniousmonk · 18/02/2018 17:09

I think David Cameron wanted Brexit but stepped down playing good cop so TM could carry it through with him et al guiding her behind the scenes.

isthismummy · 18/02/2018 17:09

Commuterface I was watching a documentary about Johnny Gosch just the other day. Such a strange tale!

confusednotcom2 · 18/02/2018 17:10

The Beyonce pregnancy thing did confuse me. I assumed she was wearing padding to throw the media off the due date etc hence the folding dress/diff bump size. However I did see footage of her hopping out of a car during her later stages & it looked odd. Plus it took her a long time to realise full body shots of her pregnant body. Who knows!

Helmetbymidnight · 18/02/2018 17:10

The moon is made of cheese.

That's why there is no cheese on earth at all.

Backenette WTC 7 wasn't hit by a plane. We are supposed to believe it fell in the manner it did merely due to fires within the building, not jet fuel.

TabbyMack · 18/02/2018 17:12

I think I share your theory, Helmetbymidnight.
