WIBU to eat all the crispy duck?

SilverHairedCat · 16/02/2018 19:23

Lidl do a Gressingham crispy duck dish for £5, complete with pancakes and sauce. I bought it for us to eat 2 days ago, but we forgot.

DH is out for the night. I have roasted the duck and eaten my half. The other half is looking at me.

WIBU to just eat the rest?

Not even a tiny bit U Grin

TheFifthKey · 16/02/2018 19:24

Eat it. Give him the £2.50 if you feel guilty.

Loonoon · 16/02/2018 19:24

It would be a shame to waste it. The

officerhinrika · 16/02/2018 19:25

Not unreasonable at all. Then hide the evidence in the bin!

BeeFarseer · 16/02/2018 19:26

YANBU. And now I'm going to Lidl tomorrow.

PerkingFaintly · 16/02/2018 19:26

Lidl, you say?

QueenAravisOfArchenland · 16/02/2018 19:26

YAB bloody U to post about it, because I'm heavily pregnant and lying down because I fainted today and I don't have any crispy duck at all and now I can't stop thinking about it. [sulk]

Eat the bloody thing so I know it's gone.

SilverHairedCat · 16/02/2018 19:27

I bought it, so he can swing for the £2.50.

Its amazing.

Tesco do the same one for anyone who might not be able to find it in Lidl.
And i agree, scoff the lot! Ive had it before and its not a huge portion anyway!

WorraLiberty · 16/02/2018 19:28

Were you supposed to be leaving half for him?

SilverHairedCat · 16/02/2018 19:28

With massive apologies to Queen Aravis (love the name, loved the books!) here's the box for those looking for it.

YANBU, OP.

It's getting cold.

LyannaStarktheWolfMaid · 16/02/2018 19:29

THese are £5 in Tesco at the moment too. We had two for dinner!

10thingsIhateAboutTheDailyMail · 16/02/2018 19:30

Heartburn!!!!

Leeds2 · 16/02/2018 19:30

I think it is probably going off. So best to eat it.

SilverHairedCat · 16/02/2018 19:30

Worra we didn't discuss it. He may sulk slightly tomorrow. Oh well.

OP posts:
pisacake · 16/02/2018 19:30

so it's only actually half a duck? not even close to unreasonable

QueenAravisOfArchenland · 16/02/2018 19:31

On the plus side, we have a Lidl here and clearly I'm hitting it tomorrow. Because I have developed a sudden and serious crispy-duck deficiency that requires urgent treatment.

SilverHairedCat · 16/02/2018 19:31

I love you all. Eating now. Guilt-free.

flumpybear · 16/02/2018 19:31

Fill ya boots 😍😜

LadyMonicaBaddingham · 16/02/2018 19:32

It's only good when it's hot and it's not safe to reheat it again.

DH and I would have one each anyway

WhiteVixen · 16/02/2018 19:34

I do love the incredibly optimistic 'serves four as a starter/two as a main' rubbish on the box.

Pah. Bollocks to that. It serves one. One.

MyKingdomForBrie · 16/02/2018 19:34

It’s only really a starter so as it’s your dinner you need to eat it all.

HildaZelda · 16/02/2018 19:37

Aldi do one too. Don't forget you still need to buy your cucumber and spring onions separately though.

Boysnme · 16/02/2018 19:38

It would have been wrong to not eat it all.
