Apparently I am.

I was stood talking to him and it was one of those did I just see that moments.

Not only does he have a stinking but he licked the fucking spoon out the curry then plonked it back in to stir it. Potentially killing us all in the process. Absolute minger.

Apparently everyone does it (( they don't))

So AIBU in making him order takeaway from the rather amazing curry house up the road ?? lets face It, takeaway curry always tastes better and I have the perfect excuse

If he's still cooking the sauce any germs will be killed...

Bobbiepin · 10/02/2018 18:23

I assume you've never kissed the man then. ..

MumGoneMild · 10/02/2018 18:23

He's your dp, chances are you've had his genitals in your mouth but worried about double dipping...

ItsAllABitStrangeReally · 10/02/2018 18:23

Not when he's dripping with cold no.

YABU - unless basically you, were just using any rubbish execute to get a takeaway

Introvertedbuthappy · 10/02/2018 18:24

I assume you never kiss the guy then...

ItsAllGoingToBeFine · 10/02/2018 18:25

YABU. Double dipping in close family is absolutely fine.

That sounds very wrong, but you know what I mean Blush

Nottheduchessofcambridge · 10/02/2018 18:26

YAB a bit U, he’s not a stranger, you know where he’s been. I do it, I’m sure if my OH ever cooked something that wasnt oven heated, he’d do it, wouldn’t bother me. Would I like it done in a restaurant? No, not really.

DeathStare · 10/02/2018 18:26

My oldest DC would react the same as you. I think she's being a drama queen. We kiss each other. Germs are already shared. What's the issue?

Floralnomad · 10/02/2018 18:27

YABU , for the reasons given by pp re having an intimate relationship with this person , having a cold makes no difference .

inkandstone · 10/02/2018 18:31

Oh, yuck. YANBU.

TheButterflyOfTheStorms · 10/02/2018 18:31

Double dipping is fine with people I exchange bodily fluids with.

But not when they have a cold. Yuk.

SpottyGecko · 10/02/2018 18:32

I'd eat a half licked ice cream off my dc - they've been in my body. Same goes with my husband - we've had kids together.

My Dh is v v fussy and would've reacted exactly like you have though Grin

NataliaOsipova · 10/02/2018 18:32

Potentially killing us all in the process.

Bit extreme! If you saw a restaurant chef do it? You'd be right to complain? But the man you swap bodily fluids with? Totally different!

FluffyWuffy100 · 10/02/2018 18:32

You want to see wht goes on in professional kitchens! Start playing up - lick fingers - plate up some more - lick fingers - finish plating - lick lick lick.

SpottyGecko · 10/02/2018 18:33

Though I wouldn't do it if the other person had a cold

Still say heat would kill the germs though

FrostiesMum · 10/02/2018 18:35

Do it. YANBU. Love a good takeaway and if your DP is that bothered he can still have his and save the second portion for himself for tomorrow night. Sorted Smile

Sparklesocks · 10/02/2018 18:35

You’ll live!

TenancyTroublesAgain · 10/02/2018 18:38

Potentially killing you how...?

Fekko · 10/02/2018 18:40

Picking pickles out of the jar with fingers is far worse.

SneakyGremlins · 10/02/2018 18:43

I hardly think the curry will be fatal now Hmm

TheXXFactor · 10/02/2018 18:49

I seriously advise you never to set foot in a restaurant kitchen.

frigginell · 10/02/2018 18:53

Surely you'd just let it boil for two minutes?

Blackteadrinker77 · 10/02/2018 18:54

Are you being serious?

Buglife · 10/02/2018 18:55

What a massive waste of food and cooking time. Don’t be so precious! You think a cold virus lives in a hot cooking curry? And yeah if you sleep in a bed with him or kiss him or have sex, you’ll be covered in his germs all the time.
