dirty buggers in toilets

Is it too much to ask that if you go to the toilet (outpatients this morning) that the person before you does not leave shit splattered all over the toilet bowl? I tried three toilets this morning before I found one that looked clean enough to use. I mean why do it ?. Is it too much to ask for people to clean up after themselves for heaven's sake?. It only takes a quick wipe with the toilet paper and then a good handwash. No sodding wonder Nova Virus is rampant. I feel sorry for the cleaners because there is now enough money in the world that would warrant that cleanup operation never mind the pittage they earn. And these are 'ladies' toilets.

I’m a cleaner at a adventure park. I clean up sick and toilets!! Not very glamorous but fits in with kids !!!
You would not believe the mess people leave toilets in. Poo on the floor, walls, doors, seats, used sanitary on the floor, wee everywhere!!! You do become abit unfazed about it.
The toilet paper almost gets me the most. Why drop it on the floor, I’m not talking little amounts, I’m talking loads of it. Put it in the toilet!!!!
I also find Womens toilets more dirty than men’s, but I put that down to the fact more kids go into female toilets!
Thank you for being nice to the cleaning staff.

I clean a public building and PEOPLE ARE FUCKING DISGUSTING.
A friend works in a large public building in a huge city and faces way worse that I do each day though so I count myself lucky. Apparently many of her patrons are from other countries and have very different toileting habits. They have had to put signs up showing correct toilet usage. (I.e No standing on toilet seats!) sadly this is still ignored and as a direct result of patrons standing up on seats to squat on the toilets, it often results in the offending mess landing outside of the bowl and being left there. On the floor.. Envy - not envy,

Bluntness100 · 02/02/2018 12:14

My husband went into one recently, came out and said somone had smeared shit all over the floor and walls of the cubicle and left their shit filled boxers on the floor. I can only assume they are mentally ill.

I do wonder what some of these people's toilets look like at home. I often can't believe the state, why the fuck would you throw your toilet paper on the floor, piss on the seats and leave shit all over the bowl. I don't beleive for a moment it's always kids.

timeistight · 02/02/2018 12:17

I work in a university. We have these issues - in our staff toilet. I have added keeping it clean to my ever growing list of admin tasks.

LeekSoup · 02/02/2018 12:19

Yanbu, it's fucking grim!

Eatalot · 02/02/2018 16:26

This winds me the fuck up. People not bothering to flush the chain and the worst is the finger smears of poo on the wall often just underneath the toilet roll holder. Wtf is that about? They should re potty train some grown ups.

PuppyMonkey · 02/02/2018 16:31

I have a former colleague who refused to ever use the toilets at work, she got in her car and drove home to use her own loo.

I never found anything too bad in there but maybe I was just lucky.

mumpoints · 02/02/2018 16:38

I read somewhere the cleanest loos in a hospital are in the maternity ward, especially the men's. Probably best to head there if there is time...

Some people are vile!!! I try not using public toilets, absolute filth 😷😳

FuckyNellYaBastad · 02/02/2018 16:47

🤮

JanuaryBirthdays · 02/02/2018 16:50

I was in Next one afternoon and the guy at the till was being told by his co-worker that a member of public had shit on the store floor. Apparently it happens a lot during the sales...why would you do that?!

notsodimwit · 02/02/2018 16:50

Parent's ran a pub for a while, years ago and the toilets especially the ladies used to be left in a terrible mess! 😕 mam used to put fresh flowers in a vase (got thrown about)and put nice handsoap and handcream(which got pinched) in..some people are pigs!

Littleraincloud · 02/02/2018 16:51

I always wonder how they've done it. Surely it takes more effort to shit on a wall?

RavenLG · 02/02/2018 16:56

I feel you. I work in a department where there is about 100 people (a fairly even split of men and women) and only 3 female cubicles on our floor. For 50ish people! Plus external people. They are rank by about 930am. I have colitis so I'm fairly explosive (tmi) but I always make sure I clean the toilet properly.

mommybear1 · 02/02/2018 16:57

Disgusting and I will never understand it. We had to use public changing facilities on Saturday for our three month old - well known fast food chain so I assumed it would be at least clean - nope. Toilet filthy, wash basin full of what appeared to be sick and used sanitary items on the floor. Plus according to the cleaning schedule on the door the facility had been cleaned 15 minutes before Hmm. Truly disgusting. I always think - You wouldn't want to walk into it so why think anyone else would! I felt sorry for whoever had to clean it.

RavenLG · 02/02/2018 16:57

Oh and I used to work in a leisure centre where people would shit and smear it all over the walls of the cublicles. Absolutely vile

blackteasplease · 02/02/2018 16:58

My friend would call them dirty brutes.... Fits well!

Laiste · 02/02/2018 16:58

As a teen i did a stint of office cleaning. One building the cleaning company took on was a tech development place. Think geeky blokes in suits all at desks laden with prototype machinery quietly inventing away. High IQ talented engineers.

Strangely though many of them couldn't use a loo properly Hmm The toilets were so disgusting i wouldn't even walk all the way in (piss on the floor) and i left the job rather than go in there ever again.

Paintspotsonthefloor · 02/02/2018 17:01

Not 18 years ago in a well known London hospital. My abiding memory is of having a catheter and having to empty it myself into the ladies loo. No worries, I didn't mind emptying my own catheter bag, but oh dear, the state of the loos. And then they took the catheter out and I had to see before they would let me home...boak!

DSHathawayGivesMeFannyGallops · 02/02/2018 17:03

Retail here. I/my staff have come across the following in fitting rooms. Piss, pool of piss and the positive pregnancy test it was used on, used tampons, dirty needles, jizz - the guy who got it in the curtain turn up was especially devious- shit, smeared shit, dirty nappies left behind in the expectation we'd clear them, spit, snot wiped on a curtain, half a smelly uneaten sandwich, dirtt tissues and baby wipes and dirty undies. There are other reasons why don't let the public use our loo but this is why we don't want them to.

mumonashoestring · 02/02/2018 17:03

People are beasts. One office I used to work in was secured access, so the person who kept going into the toilets and carefully putting the lid down to shit on had to have worked there. The cleaners took all the lids off, and she started shitting in the sanpro bin - cue no collection company touching us with a bargepole and all the bins having to be removed.

John4703 · 02/02/2018 17:04

I was at a caravan site and the staff must have got fed up because there were instructions on how to use a toilet brush in each loo.
Well done whoever wrote them.

Paintspotsonthefloor · 02/02/2018 17:04

wee not see

hazeyjane · 02/02/2018 17:07

Try changing a disabled older child (or adult) on the floors of these toilets. Grim.
