My friend came to visit me earlier which is unusual as I normally only see her when I am in her area (I moved an hour away so it's where I grew up so I see her when visiting family) anyway when she got to mine she said the reason for her visit was to dump her neighbours cat in my area! Apparently it has been continuously pissing and shitting on her bed and fighting her other cats that she got fed up (after speaking with the neighbour many times who apparently didn't do anything) she decided to take it as far as she could travel and dump it, which happened to be my area. She said she caught it in her cat carrier and let it out once she got to the station! Aibu in being disgusted by this?!

Right aye

Snowman41 · 03/01/2018 00:47

I would be more concerned as to why my friends bed was outside for the cat to shit on in the first place Wink

ohhereweareagain · 03/01/2018 00:48

That's TERRIBLE

TheQueenOfWands · 03/01/2018 00:48

Hideous behaviour. However, it was pissing on her bed and the owner wouldn't do anything. She had to do something. What else could she do?

CalpolandCoke · 03/01/2018 00:48

I'm not a cat lover at all and hate the fuckers who shit in my garden but I'd never do that. Hour in the car is miles for a cat, although as I understand it, cats are pretty good at getting home.

MrsFoxPlus4 · 03/01/2018 00:48

Absolutely disgusting!!

ThisLittleKitty · 03/01/2018 00:48

She leaves her windows open for her cats to go in and out obviously the other cat has made it's way in.

Oh my god that’s horrible!

The poor cat must be terrified and it’s owners must be worried.

I can only suggest that you contact your local shelters and make them aware; is there any way that your can find out anything else about the cat?

How on earth did you manage to formulate a reply when she told you what she’d done?

Eatingwormswithwine · 03/01/2018 00:49

It’ll probably be home before she is.

CalpolandCoke · 03/01/2018 00:49

Indeed, how did it have access to her bed?

MiddleClassProblem · 03/01/2018 00:51

Shoulda got a microchip Reading catflap. Poor cat, even if it was a CF.

CalpolandCoke · 03/01/2018 00:51

Ah, I see. How does she know it's not her own cat pissing on the bed?! Wonder how she'd feel if the boot was on the other foot!!!!

ThisLittleKitty · 03/01/2018 00:51

Like I said she leaves her small window open I've been to her house that's how her cats get in and out as she won't put in a cat flap. I said it was wrong and I was horrified but she just said "well you wouldn't like it if it was happening to you".

Cats can be sneaky - nip in the cat flap terrorise the owners cats, piss their terrible smell on the furniture, crap everywhere - bets bills from th fighting, bloody nightmare of non neutered tom cats

When you ring the charities they tell you to catch them and take them tonne 'done', but that's someone else's car and you can't do that!

I'm not surprised! Bet she's tried everything else and flipped!

DonnyAndVladSittingInATree · 03/01/2018 00:52

Take a photo of the cat and post on FB local pages where your friend is from saying you suspect this is a cat missing from X area/street.

Snowman41 · 03/01/2018 00:53

You need to contact her neighbour btw, and let them know which area to start looking for their cat.

GreenTulips · 03/01/2018 00:53

Those micro car flats don't work, if a cat comes home at speed the flat swings and the other cat can get in - but not out and now your cat is trapped with bully cat

PixieXox · 03/01/2018 00:54

What a disgusting scumbag.

why are you friends with someone like that

MiddleClassProblem · 03/01/2018 00:57

How does she know one of her cats isn’t doing this to someone else? How would she feel?

Fatso1978 · 03/01/2018 01:01

Call the RSPCA or whatever it is called where you live and report her, so the Poor cat can be found and wildlife it will kill can be saved! What's the point in writing here? To piss people off knowing they can't do anything?

strangerhoes · 03/01/2018 01:03
Wink
strangerhoes · 03/01/2018 01:03

Control your animals or someone else will do it for you

Whiterabbitears · 03/01/2018 01:03

Poor Kitty Sad I would return the cat to your friends road, knock on a few doors if you have to. I couldn't let this happen, the neighbour might have DC who think their pet is missing?
