Anyone also got really bad weather in the U.K.? In west London, and the wind's howling outside the windows, with the rain lashing down Confused Really noisy!!

OP posts:
Idontevencareanymore · 02/01/2018 23:16

Yep. South coast and really howling out there.

imaddictedtomn · 02/01/2018 23:19

Yes terrible. I’m not going to go to bed yet because I know the wind and rain beating on the windows will keep me awake. 😡

Doobigetta · 02/01/2018 23:20

It was pretty wild here in Manchester for a bit, but has died down now.

gingergenius · 02/01/2018 23:20

Yep Sussex coast here and horribly windy here. Worried my roof will be ripped off and I'll be swept of to the land of Oz!

DMCWelshCakes · 02/01/2018 23:21

Yep. Blowing a hoolie here in the SE. We've got scaffolding round the house & its making a horrible noise.

dancingthroughthedark · 02/01/2018 23:21

I am staying in a lovely Victorian house on the South Coast, rest of the family went home a couple of days ago and I am here alone the wind is howling and the rain battering the windows and with it being a house I don't know am totally freaked out by the noises and creaks I am hearing. Don't think I will sleep much tonight!

JeReviens · 02/01/2018 23:22

In Eastbourne at a conference - never heard wind like it! The locals don't seem particularly perturbed though. Be surprised if I sleep a wink tonight

fairgame84 · 02/01/2018 23:22

Aye it's a bit blowy in South Yorkshire. Fence panels are rattling away all fucking night

TheSassyAssassin · 02/01/2018 23:22

South West and it has been EVIL here! Shock

ClownsAndJokers · 02/01/2018 23:22

Yep. It’s a bit crazy here too with the wind and rain! Too loud to sleep yet so that’s my excuse for being on here instead of in bed!

TittyGolightly · 02/01/2018 23:23

YABU.

LuxuryWoman2017 · 02/01/2018 23:26

Wild here in Berkshire, just when it seems to calm down it starts up again.

I'm cosy in bed but it's too noisy to sleep just yet.

mirime · 02/01/2018 23:27

South Wales, and the wind is howling round the house. Fairly near the coast though so it often does in the winter, with scenes of fence panel devastation the next morning.

shoofly · 02/01/2018 23:28

Northern Ireland here, trees down all over the place and lots of power cuts. Does seem a bit quieter than a few hours ago.

TheTasteOfInk · 02/01/2018 23:35

Not windy here yetv in the borders, but the rain was pretty horizontal last time I opened the back door.

Elphame · 02/01/2018 23:38

It's a bit blowy here in the South West. I've heard it worse though.

Userplusnumbers · 02/01/2018 23:42

V blowy in East mids, but I find the noise soothing when going to sleep

doubleshotespresso · 02/01/2018 23:43

Yes in South East London and it sounds horrendous outside, had to nip out earlier and trees were bending in the wind as if they were about to break....
Been drinking tea ever since! Not looking forward to the drive in the morning....

goldenlilliesdaffodillies · 02/01/2018 23:43

Kent and VERY windy/rainy!

helensburgh · 02/01/2018 23:45

In south West Scotland. Eye of the storm.according to bbc !
V windy. Local flooding and high tide at midnight.
It's not good

MsAwesomeDragon · 02/01/2018 23:45

We're in Cumbria and it's very, very windy here. All my fence panels have blown down Shock because they're rotten and should have been replaced ages ago

Beelzebop · 02/01/2018 23:46

Love the sounds of a storm when I'm tucked up in bed! Fairly gusty here in Derby.

OhYouBadBadKitten · 02/01/2018 23:46

lots of us here in the weather section.

SleightOfMind · 02/01/2018 23:46

SW London and the dogs point blank refused to go out before bed.
Am eyeing them curled up with their bulging bladders and resigned to being woken up at 2am when they can’t hold it any longer.
Surprisingly horrible out there though.

LuluJakey1 · 02/01/2018 23:47

Northumberland - not windy. Was raining earlier but has stopped. Not cold.
