I've joined the thread to find out when op's new antique ram castrating hobby gets underway.

Obviously you'll need to explain your new hobby requires the prompt return of stolen item from CF. It may be they are totally unaware of it's secondary use but I bet FIL knows.....

I've been up for two hours because my 4 year old woke up feeling sick, did the tiniest vomit ever, declared he felt better and went back to sleep, leaving me and DD 1.5 up for the day. 😴
Dying to hear the outcome. How sad someone you thought of as a friend turned so nasty, though.

What if Cf goes ahead and gives castrator to FIL ( only to avoid returning it to you), FIL loves it, wouldn't it be a bit difficult to retrieve it then?
