My Christmas would be ruined if Lidl were to discontinue their dark chocolate barrels filled with brandy or advocaat. I love them both and stock up every year ( think this is the fourth year ). They do tend to sell out. Are you sure Iceland doesn't just need to restock ?

OP I hear your grievance and I raise you this:

Last year I ordered this amazing pie from M&S on click and collect, planning to serve it at a party. Had got pretty overexcited about it due to glossy photography in the xmas catalogue. It was a long, loaf shaped pie that you would cut into slices lengthways and it had (as I recall), turkey, bacon and sausages inside. You can see from my loving description how attached I had become.... So on the morning of the party I go to collect it, and there is NO FUCKING PIE. Store were hugely apologetic and gave us £25 voucher and a free bottle of champagne. I was naturally devastated. I promised myself that I would get the pie next year... So after an agonising wait, Christmas cometh once again, so I eagerly rip the catalogue out of its cellophane, planning to order the pie there and then. And this year there is NO SUCH PIE. (sorry for no paragraphs- the app won't do them for some reason. Also I am too angry to paragraph)

And of course, if you were to tackle them about this, they'd look you straight in the eye and say "No, we've never actually stocked those, have we Janice? Are you maybe thinking of Farm Foods? Or Bejam? Or FreshCo? I know they used to stock that sort of thing".

So the bastards have done you over proper good styleee and they are making out that you are the one in the wrong.
