To report this....

An acquaintance of mine (wouldn’t say friend, more a friend of a friend) is absolutely obsessed with snapchat. Ok, fine, each to their own.

BUT she constantly snaps and drives, like ALL the time. She saves the snaps and uploads them to her Instagram account. The latest was her driving along (Not at a slow speed) and looking into the camera with a silly snapchat filter on. She then writes a message on the screen and uploads it, ALL WHILE DRIVING. Or she will film the road while she’s driving and the song is playing in the background (?!)

I spoke to her about it before Blush she views me as the bore, I think.
I said I was worried she might have an accident, she just laughed it off.

I know I could just delete her and never see them again BUT she really really could cause an accident and hurt someone/herself. She has her eyes off the road for long spells of time just to keep us “entertained” she’s not funny anyway.
Oh, and she’s only just got her license back for a drink driving ban.

Sooooo... my AIBU is WIBU to report her for it? Who to? Or IABU and I should just ignore it

(I just looked at her latest snapchat story and there are five snaps of her while she’s driving) Hmm

You're friend is a dick. A selfish dick. She's not only risking her own life but those of the people who are around her!

I don't know what you can do re reporting her but I hope something is done before someone is killed!

Mac12345 · 29/11/2017 11:50

Yanbu to report her. She's incredibly dangerous, she could kill someone.

The police non emergency number might be a start? Snapchat is surely evidence of driving on phone.

GreenFingersWouldBeHandy · 29/11/2017 12:04

She is a dick - and also STUPID!

Yes, report her. She's posted the evidence herself!!!

Bettyspants · 29/11/2017 12:13

Ss the evidence. Report to 101. She's the kind of person who will only think twice once she's been the cause of complete heartbreak.

sausagerollsrock · 29/11/2017 12:14

Yes defo report her. Selfish people like this make me angry!

onalongsabbatical · 29/11/2017 12:17

Yes, report her. Very clear cut.

therealposieparker · 29/11/2017 12:18

Report her or fear reading about her death or that of others when she eventually kills or is killed.

Redsippycup · 29/11/2017 12:20

Absolutely report her - 101 would be the right number I think. Or does your local police have a Facebook page you could private message with links / screenshots? I'm sure I have heard of idiots posting YouTube videos of themselves speeding etc being prosecuted.

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 29/11/2017 12:33

You would be unreasonable not to report her. Please do so before she kills or seriously maims someone.

bluesu · 29/11/2017 12:41

Ok thanks, I guess it’s situations like these that 101 is made for. Thanks, I needed a kick in the right direction

CoraPirbright · 29/11/2017 12:47

I would find out her reg number & visit the local cop shop with your phone & show them. She is bloody dangerous & it's only a matter of time before she has an accident. Don't really care if a fuckwit like this hurts herself but she could easily kill someone. Angry

Iwanttobe8stoneagain · 29/11/2017 12:57

Yes report her. You won’t be a bore when she crashes into a car and wipes out a family. She a stupid self centred cow

Raver84 · 29/11/2017 13:13

100 per cent report her she sounds like a fucking tool

Discotits · 29/11/2017 13:15

Def report.

MyKingdomForBrie · 29/11/2017 13:25

Depending on how comfortable you are with her knowing you reported, film the snaps on your screen with a different phone rather than screenshot as Snapchat will tell her each time you screenshot.

TheSunIsFar · 29/11/2017 13:27

REPORT HER!!!!

I've seen too many mobile phone accidents, people like that need to be taken off the roads ASAP!!!!

HuskyMcClusky · 29/11/2017 13:28

She’s a selfish fucker.

I’d report her so quick her head would spin. I wouldn’t care if she knew it was me, either.

Mittens1969 · 29/11/2017 13:29

Definitely report her, that's so wrong.

blueskyinmarch · 29/11/2017 13:31

She is posing a serious risk to other road users/pedestrians by doing this so you need to report it. There is a certain irony in that she has managed to post evidence of her doing what you will report her for.

LouiseBrooks · 29/11/2017 13:34

she’s only just got her license back for a drink driving ban

Report her NOW. She is one of those people who don't give a toss. When she eventually crashes (as she will) she is likely to kill people.

And don't be bashful either if she ever asks if it was you who reported her. Tell her she she a selfish, stupid, idiot who deserves it.

Ttbb · 29/11/2017 13:37

Please report her. Imagine what would happen if a child ran onto the road in front of her of the car in front suddenly breaked

ShatnersWig · 29/11/2017 13:39

she’s only just got her license back for a drink driving ban

And you needed to come and ask other people's opinion about what you should do? I wouldn't have even had to think. I'd have demanded she pull over and let me out of the car even if I had a 5-mile walk to get a bus or a taxi. And then as soon as I got home, report the bitch.

SloeSloeQuickQuickGin · 29/11/2017 13:40

It could be dash cam and she converts the film after BUT I'd report and she can prove her innocence.

But I doubt anything will be done though.

snorkmaiden68 · 29/11/2017 13:43

Yes report her. People need to realise driving is a privilege not a right. You need to keep your eyes on the road at all times. Children run out in a second and there could be an awful tragedy just so she can get herself all over social media.

IamtheDevilsAvocado · 29/11/2017 13:44

Yes! Please report her!! Take as much evidence as you can to local cop shop/101

... .then you've done your duty and definitely saved people a whole lot of hurt/Saved their lives. It's only a matter of time with arses like this....

She's completely selfish..... Yes unfunny video/snapchats are definitely risking others lives for....

I once reported a neighbour who was obviously under the influence when taking his car out....he'd already damaged cars in the road...

He was breathalysed /banned within 48 hours... I'm sure for police it was shooting fish in a barrel!
