Not to make dinner for DH

MrsMarigold · 26/11/2017 21:25

We finished lunch at 4pm (a roast) I thought DH wouldn't need dinner but he is furious I haven't made anything. He was expecting another cooked meal. Kids had a cheese baguette before bed.

madcatwoman61 · 26/11/2017 21:26

What’s stopping him making his own?

elelfrance · 26/11/2017 21:26

And why isn't he capable of making something himself?

LagunaBubbles · 26/11/2017 21:27

Well the most obvious answer is tell him to make it himself! But seriously who would want another cooked hot meal after having a roast? Confused

lalaloopyhead · 26/11/2017 21:27

Is he not capable of getting himself something to eat if he's hungry? Why is he expecting you to provide something?

user1471548375 · 26/11/2017 21:27

Erm, why can't he make something himself? Doesn't he know where the kitchen is?

Also, a full cooked meal after eating at 4pm? The greedy swine.

And he's 'furious'? Sounds like a douchebag OP

VulgarWheat · 26/11/2017 21:27

He should make his own!

RunRabbitRunRabbit · 26/11/2017 21:27

Why can't he make himself a cheese baguette?

Do you want to eat?

NapQueen · 26/11/2017 21:27

Maybe he needs to redirect his attentions to the toaster and the tin of beans.

Fuckwit.

Oysterbabe · 26/11/2017 21:28

I'd probably make us both a sandwich or something in that situation. If you're not hungry though he can certainly do it himself.

PuppyMonkey · 26/11/2017 21:28

Tell the greedy knobend to make some cheese on toast for himself.

Furious?? Hmm

SparklingSnowfall · 26/11/2017 21:28

What? He's furious? Because you've not made another dinner when he's already bloody had one at 4pm?!

Is he telling him where to stick his furious!!

SparklingSnowfall · 26/11/2017 21:29

**I'd be, not is he!

WhooooAmI24601 · 26/11/2017 21:30

Unless his hands have stopped working there's no real reason he can't prepare himself something hot.

AnyFucker · 26/11/2017 21:30

Is this a fucking joke ?

TheDuchessofDukeStreet · 26/11/2017 21:31

We finished dinner at 5pm. DP has just had tea and two rich tea biscuits before he goes to bed. I had an orange and a glass of wine. No need for two dinners.

TheABC · 26/11/2017 21:31

I assume he hm can be trusted around knives, stoves and kettles? Direct him towards the larder and leave him to it.

I now want cheese toasties! Bah!

gamerchick · 26/11/2017 21:32

Laugh at his fury and tell him to make his own fucking tea.

I Want cheese on toast now Angry

DaisysStew · 26/11/2017 21:34

Well surely if you've just cooked a big roast it would be his turn to cook anyway?

I'd be tempted to shit on a plate and serve him that - you've baked it yourself so he can't complain.

TheFairyCaravan · 26/11/2017 21:34

Bollocks to that. Tell him to make his own.

Lazy git

Nanny0gg · 26/11/2017 21:34

Actually, really furious?

LuxuryWoman2017 · 26/11/2017 21:35

PurpleDaisies · 26/11/2017 21:35
