Not to make dinner for DH

MrsMarigold · 26/11/2017 21:25

We finished lunch at 4pm (a roast) I thought DH wouldn't need dinner but he is furious I haven't made anything. He was expecting another cooked meal. Kids had a cheese baguette before bed.

Are you kidding me?! We had lunch at 2 and I don’t want anything!! DH doesn’t either and I doubt he will even after he finishes milking at about 11pm.

Unless the meat for said roast was his own actual hands, suggest he damn well uses them and makes whatever it is he has decided he needs to eat.

champagneplanet · 26/11/2017 21:39

If he lived with me he'd be even more furious when I told him to go feck himself, bellend.

You made a dinner at 4pm, he should now be making YOUR supper!!

Fluffyears · 26/11/2017 21:39

I’d make him cook for himself for the rest of eternity.

mumeeee · 26/11/2017 21:39

DH and I wouldn't have another cooked meal if we had one at lunch time even if we had finished it by 2pm and defintly not if we hasn't finished until 4
We probably wouldn't eat much at all.

SonicBoomBoom · 26/11/2017 21:40

Is there something wrong with his hands?

Or does he think you cook with your vagina?

GetYourRocksOff · 26/11/2017 21:41

Furious? Tell him to get to fuck

Regularsizedrudy · 26/11/2017 21:42

Have you time travelled from the 1950s?

MrsMarigold · 26/11/2017 21:45

Thanks. It seems to be the straw that broke the camel's back. He is gluten intolerant so no bread, he made two eggs and said he wants a divorce. Fine with me atm.

SouthWindsWesterly · 26/11/2017 21:47

He wants a divorce over the fact that you cooked a roast earlier but he wanted another meal? Has he always been such an arse?

NapQueen · 26/11/2017 21:48

God what a cunt.

RidingWindhorses · 26/11/2017 21:48

Do you do all the cooking, housework and childcare?

RJnomore1 · 26/11/2017 21:48

Unless you're about to drip feed that he cannot use his arms or legs I'd say let him go ahead. If he's that traumatised about cooking a few eggs he's going to have great fun cooking all of his own meals.

Ffs has he always been a greedy selfish demanding entitled arsehole?

Tatiannatomasina · 26/11/2017 21:49

Get yourself to a solicitors first thing. Find out where you stand. Do not be bullied. He can have his divorce, but on your terms. Knowledge is power.

DaisysStew · 26/11/2017 21:49

He wants a divorce? What a twat!

arethereanyleftatall · 26/11/2017 21:49

I don't really get this. Why would you make it? Is there a drip feed like he has no arms, or you're his slave or something to come? Makes no sense.

Butterymuffin · 26/11/2017 21:50

Tell him to go right ahead and call a solicitor tomorrow. Then you'll never be cooking for him again, will you?

GertrudeCB · 26/11/2017 21:50

Divorce the fucker.

PunkrockerGirl59 · 26/11/2017 21:50

He wants a divorce?
I'd be doing the happy dance and packing the fuckwit's bags for him.

LuxuryWoman2017 · 26/11/2017 21:51

Well, give him the divorce he wants and he can do all his own cooking.
He sounds a prize prick so you will be happier too. Win win

SheGotBetteDavisEyes · 26/11/2017 21:51

he is furious I haven't made anything. He was expecting another cooked meal

Seriously, actually furious?

he made two eggs and said he wants a divorce.

And you replied with what?

Cupoteap · 26/11/2017 21:51

Hope he made you some Wink

Parisa78 · 26/11/2017 21:53

"It seems to be the straw that broke the camel's back".

What else is going on?

Hmm
HellonHeels · 26/11/2017 21:54

He wants a divorce? Tell him to get on with it ASAP. "Not cooking me a second dinner" will look good on the list of unreasonable behaviour.

What a tool he sounds.
