To ask when payday is?

I have baby brains and for some reason I've confused myself and expected to be paid today

My last wage came in on the 27th last month. I've since also started maternity leave.

My wage gets calculated between the 14th and 14th (I think) and I get paid for the month behind.
Also if I remember correctly my company always does an early pay day in December around the 18/19th.

I'm sure someone on here knows how it works.
Is it payday next week?

If so I'm in a pickle as I used up quite a bit of this months wage for Christmas presents and last min baby bits

Surely if you got paid on the 27th last month you'll get paid on the 27th this month. Monday. Why are you confused?

Last month the 27th fell on a Friday is all.

How would we know when your payday is?

If you get paid on the 27th you'll get paid on Monday.

All the other info is irrelevant, you get paid the same time each month (although some companies may do last fri of the month etc), apart from your early pay in Dec.

Not necessarily. I had a job in the UK where payday was the last working Friday of the month.

OP, ask your manager, a colleague, your HR department or anyone at your employers, because nobody on here is going to know for certain.

I get paid on 28th (last month 27th due to weekend) my husband gets paid last day of the month

Well the simple way to find out is to see if she was paid the 27th in September (Wednesday) or 29th (last working Friday).

Still not difficult.

It depends. I get paid last day of the month. Some get paid last Friday. Some get paid a specific date. Some get paid weekly.

Ring your workplace.

I normally get paid on the 28th but got paid this morning for some reason! Next month is December 22nd due to Christmas, then end of January.

Well you presumably have worked there more than just last month if you're on Mat leave, when do you normally get paid?

You need to speak to someone in your workplace who actually knows, YABU to ask people online who have no way of knowing!

I get paid mid month, hubby on last working day of the month but it used to be last working Friday of the month. It really depends on what your company does... not sure anyone here can help

I get paid on 26th as that falls on a weekend I've got it today.

I was paid yesterday..paid every 4 weeks
My son is paid last day of the month and there is no early payday in December
My daughter is paid on 27th of each month but is paid earlier in both December and January

But seriously we don’t know. It depends what your “pay rules” are. So I used to work somewhere that paid the 11th of each month, unless that fell on a weekend or BH and then I got paid the nearest working day before that- so it would be really early if the 11th fell on, say, Easter Monday. But usually was only out by a day. But I’ve eorked in other places where it’s the last working Friday, or a set date and if that fell on a weekend/BH then we got paid the next working day after.

I get paid on the last working day so it can vary. I don't get paid until next Thursday unfortunately. A quick check of my calendar tells me that the 27th last month was a Friday so maybe you will get paid next week too

No idea when you get paid op! I get paid on the last working day of the month. DH gets paid on 25th of each month.

If you got paid on 27th last month it would seem that you either get paid on 27th if each month, the last working Friday, or even every four weeks on a Friday. You’d be best to ring work and find out.

I'm paid on the second last working day of the month. Maybe you'll be paid on Monday, as that's the 27th.
