To think we've made a mistake and return this tap

I think it may be too big and in your face. Does it?

Also can I return it as it's been fitted? Not really used it other than to check it works.

I love it. I don’t think you can return it after fitting unless it was faulty.
I am sure you will get used to it, might seem in your face if your old one was small.

abbsisspartacus · 30/10/2017 01:54

No I don't think you can return it I think it looks fine though

SleepingStandingUp · 30/10/2017 01:54

Name it and talk to it, then you'll never want to get rid of it.

I think it looks like a Georgio

BulletFox · 30/10/2017 01:55

Looks o.k.!

Cavender · 30/10/2017 01:58

Looks good and very practical

justalittlelemondrizzle · 30/10/2017 01:58

Since taking the photo it seems to be leaning forward quite noticably. I think it may be too heavy for my sink. Sink also just been fitted.

If you're not happy with it get it returned now and explain your concerns

OldWitch00 · 30/10/2017 03:12

it looks fine. my only issue is cleaning the coils...

Suze1621 · 30/10/2017 05:18

Sorry looks too big to me

londonrach · 30/10/2017 05:57

Too big but now fitted not sure you can return it unless irs faulty. Where you buy it from

AlternativeTentacle · 30/10/2017 05:59

i have a similar one. love it.

comedycentral · 30/10/2017 06:05

Is your sink deep enough for the splash it will make? It looks like a catering type one and the sinks are usually a bit deeper.

NotAgainYoda · 30/10/2017 06:14

I see what you mean

That Industrial style tap was invented for a much bigger (restaurant) sink, so it does look a bit out of place

But if it's practical and doesn't send water all over the kitchen then I don't think you'll notice it after a while

I love the tap but it doesn’t go with the sink. The sink doesn’t do the tap justice if that makes any sense Grin

BarbaraofSevillle · 30/10/2017 06:21

I agree Durham. Not wishing to be rude, but that looks like the cheapest sink in the shop, that you would expect to be accompanied by a basic mixer tap.

But I don't know if it can be returned. Depends on the shop - somewhere big like Screwfix, Ikea or B&Q are often more relaxed about these things than small places.

Worriedobsessive · 30/10/2017 06:22

I have that very tap and also thought it looked giant when it first was fitted. However, I don’t notice it now and it’s hugely useful! Blasting dishes with it is ace, and it means that the sink is always clean because you just squirt that at it and it blasts any bits away.

TBH I’d change the sink and keep the tap. The sink looks far lower quality than the tap.

NotAgainYoda · 30/10/2017 06:24

Reminds me of my job at McDonald's as a teenager. Massive sinks though. Dangerously boiling water got stuff clean in moments

flissfloss65 · 30/10/2017 06:29

Try and take the sink back, it looks way to small and not deep enough for the tap.

Goldenbug · 30/10/2017 06:32

Looks very ugly industrial. You could ask to exchange it but I don't think the company will have too, so don't faucet.

CatsRidingRollercoasters · 30/10/2017 06:34

I have that tap and I love it! It's so useful how it bends.

Admittedly I have a gigantic, sharply cornered extra deep square sink so they look beautiful together.
