Now I like a joke as much as the next person. I even find those kids toys that poo and fart that are all the rage now marginally funny.

But this has to be one of the nastiest cakes I've seen! Other cake fails anyone?

(Sorry if there's already a 'gross cake' thread but I couldn't find it.)

"That's typical for Mumsnet. If ever I'm searching for something on the Internet and a Mumsnet link is highlighted you can guarantee it's gibberish from Idiots."

"So this is what the mums net coven get up to when they're not parking across someone's drive in the/ morning !"

"Perhaps these thick mumsnet users should actually bake for their children instead of wasting valuable family time on this pathetic site. No wonder family values are going down the pan."

"I don't know why people are getting so indignant about it. It's not their flipping cake, it is a picture on the internet. Hey mumsnet mommies, why don't you get off the internet and go spend time with your children or maybe try to lose that extra 50 lbs of "baby weight"

Charmers on the Mail as usual! HmmGrin

If it looks like that now, what'll it look like once it's emerging from the lower colon?

I frequently spew profanities. I rather enjoy it actually.

It's even reached New Zealand now! Is this a mumsnet record?!

I predict a dozen "why do you lovely ladies have such potty mouths" threads by new people washed in by these news reports.

onceisok · 02/10/2017 17:03

I wish they'd stop using stock pictures of women that aren't me looking horrified! Grin

OP posts:
Fekko · 02/10/2017 17:13

Can they find a photo of people looking delighted and tucking into a forkful of poo cake? Where exactly is the news? What next - photos of bloated corpsesthay have been in the river a few weeks 'mums disgusted by photos of bloated Betty'?

paxillin · 02/10/2017 17:27

I would let them take my picture tucking into a poo cake for a reasonable fee.

onceisok · 02/10/2017 17:35

I will be happy to do any pictures if they pay for my airfare back to the UK. Grin

An ACTUAL poo cake would need some serious dough though.

"Can they find a photo of people looking delighted and tucking into a forkful of poo cake?"

Minnie's racist employer inadvertently doing so in The Help is a joy to behold Grin
Does that count?

PringlesInTheFlySpace · 02/10/2017 18:01

I make cakes as a hobby and I'm not sure I could send this out of my kitchen Envy < not envy however the lady clearly has baking skills!
On a side note I love a good cake thread and I really wish there were more of them (I was gutted when the cake troll got an awesome thread deleted)

onceisok · 02/10/2017 18:27

Oh I remember that thread! Was it the one saying someone had used her cakes on Facebook? Was she the zoo troll too?

OP posts:
onceisok · 02/10/2017 18:30

No not the you tube video!

I've had many insults levelled at me over this but racist isn't one so leave it out! Grin

My favourite was 'stuck up British whore.' Hmm

OP posts:
PringlesInTheFlySpace · 02/10/2017 19:52

Yes the op had paid for a frozen cake that was shit, but the baker had been using other people's photos to advertise her business and the photos original owner joined the thread! It was amazing and then it turned out to be all lies

onceisok · 02/10/2017 20:39

That was it! I was so invested in that then- pooof!

OP posts:
ZuzuMyLittleGingersnap · 02/10/2017 22:30

Now, OP, I realise you get the point I was making and are likewise bantering ...but in case anyone really does misinterpret my intention, accusing OP of anything wasn't it!

(And nor was I casting aspersions on any cake decorators' actual ingredients used in RL).

Love that scene: satisfaction aplenty in watching such an utter piece of work get what she deserves. Go Minnie.

ZuzuMyLittleGingersnap · 02/10/2017 22:33

And how dare anyone call you a "stuck-up British whore". Minnie will be round to deal with them shortly...

onceisok · 02/10/2017 22:45

You're right, has to be one of the most satisfying scenes in a film ever.

OP posts:
Fekko · 02/10/2017 22:52

I take objection to 'stuck up...'
