AIBU to think the singing of the Jeremy Corbyn song was quite sweet

I was quite moved to hear all those Labour Party faithfulls singing that ode to Jeremy Corbyn. I bet Teresa May is wishing she inspired half that devotion from her party faithful.

The red flag does not worship one individual.

Who still couldn't get them in even with the detested Tories in power. Deluded or what?

Personality cults are for sheep.

I am a Labour voter, a football fan and JC has grown on me hugely since the lead up to the GE. But, perhaps weirdly, the football-style chanting made my teeth itch. It's probably because it made me think of mob mentality, like the England football supporters who march through foreign cities singing songs and kissing people off. Dunno really. Confused

Oops, rather an embarrassing autocorrect there. I do of course mean pissing people off.

Look what has happened in America when a cult blindly follows a leader without caring about the consequences. I really hope the UK is more intelligent.

Arse clenchingly embarassing. When you've had a few ciders at Glastonbury, fine, but at the Labour party conference? My sphincter tightened so hard my bum nearly ate the car seat when it was played in the radio.

I liked it when it first started happening and it seemed spontaneous, agree it's cringey now. I also think people like Tom Watson are joining in with it in an effort to be 'down with the kids' so they forget how much he slated Corbyn.
