By adding lashings of cinnamon: porridge, weetabix, apple crumble, curry, stir fry etc

I put a pinch of cinnamon in bolognese sauce.

iklboo · 27/09/2017 18:58

Or mix with some brown sugar, sprinkle over sliced pineapple and roast. Mmmmmm.

YABU. Apple puddings are much nicer without cinnamon. It’s OK mixed in curry etc with other flavours.

TwatteryFlowers · 27/09/2017 19:23

Yanbu. I can't stand the taste or smell of cinnamon and its presence spoils a decent apple pie.

bridgetreilly · 27/09/2017 19:24

This is also true of maple syrup: cakes, pancakes, waffles, bacon, ham, turkey...

Titsywoo · 27/09/2017 19:24

I hate cinnamon. I think many (savoury) things are improved by pesto though.

Katiepoes · 27/09/2017 19:24

For me just having someone else make it would be enough. Cinnamon or not.

oldlaundbooth · 27/09/2017 19:26

I thought you were gonna say cheese.

Yabu.

existentialmoment · 27/09/2017 19:28

Almost nothing is improved with cinnamon.

NextIndia · 27/09/2017 19:30

Cinnamon - Yuk! I had a lovely roast dinner recently and the dirty bastards had cooked the delicious red cabbage with loads of cinnamon. No!

DrizzleHair · 27/09/2017 19:40

Cheese is the correct answer here, not cinnamon.
After extensive research only noodle soup and curry are not improved by cheese. Everything else is

Amanduh · 27/09/2017 19:50

I hate cinnamon. Everything is ruined by cinnamon

TheClacksAreDown · 27/09/2017 19:51

Awful awful stuff. Ruins everything it touches

WhatWouldLeslieKnopeDo · 27/09/2017 19:53

Drizzle what about paneer in a curry?

I am quite partial to a Cheddar and curry paste toastie myself, but I know that’s a little odd Blush

TabbyMumz · 27/09/2017 19:53

Nope, don't like cinammon, and can happily live without it.

deadringer · 27/09/2017 19:58

Cheese is what I expected too. Cinnamon, not so much.

CardsforKittens · 27/09/2017 19:58

Mmmm, chips, cheese and curry sauce.
But maybe not with cinnamon.

NoKidsTwoCats · 27/09/2017 19:59

Definitely cheese. Even curry can be improved by cheese (think paneer). The ONLY exception is Chinese or Thai food.

CountFosco · 27/09/2017 20:00

Don't like lashings of cinnamon, mixed 1:1 with ginger is much better. The real answer is of course everything is improved with a pinch of salt but that's a bit boring.

LemonBreeland · 27/09/2017 20:01

I hate cinnamon and agree with the pp who said it ruins apple dishes.

I never order apple pie or crumble when out just in case it has cinnamon in, and they don't bother to tell you on the menu.

Aridane · 27/09/2017 20:02

Loathe cinnamon.

HemanOrSheRa · 27/09/2017 20:03

I thought it was going to be cheese too. Humpf.

Sooooooooooooooooooooo · 27/09/2017 20:03

I dont like food tasting of cinnamon.

Catwithglasses · 27/09/2017 20:04

There are lots of lovely foods which are ruined by the addition of cinnamon ;-)
