To be fed up of Instamums

I followed a few of the more well-known Instamums but got weary of the constant daily barrage of brand endorsements. I can't relate to people on £100k a year in Farrow & Ball houses. I just can't. So I had to unfollow em all, every one. AIBU to feel a bit miffed that these people are using the idea of sisterhood to make money? They're not our friends, they're just there to sell us stuff that we probably don't need anyway.

The thing I really don't get is the mindset of the really sycophantic followers. I get following to have a nose, I get "liking" a pic now and then - but I don't get commenting on every post with "you are so amazing!! what great parents!! #goals"

Wrote a blog post about having to use food banks to get by then a few days later posting about buying new Saltwater sandals and stuff from Cath Kidston for her children She seems perfectly nice and I don't know how she manages day to day but I find it very odd.

My faves are Alice Judge-Talbot who is funny and clever and i want to be her friend. Also Parry Plus 1 (Danielle) who is the one that MoD wasn't very nice to. She's really down to earth and great. She's done her house up so well with little budget.
