A close friend lives in Texas. DSis & family live in Nebraska and Iowa. A former friend who pops up on SM lives in Alaska. So we still get a bit of 'bombardment' in a round about way. They all do know better than to say anything directly, though.

On the upside, DH's BFF has now started to say 'WTF?' and DH is doing a lot of 'I told you so, dude!'.
