Inasmuch as I do prep, I do so for power and other utilities outages. Not for nuclear conflict.

I've just had a blazing row with dp about all of this. We've avoided talking politics for a very long time but it came out today that he thinks that trump is here to strip kings of their armour as is predicted in Isaiah 45 and that he's a force for good that's being misrepresented by left wing media and their agendas.

I'm genuinely saddened that we are so fundamentally incompatible. There's so much love between us and our dc but I really don't know where to go from here.

The thing is, if it were Obama, I'm sure he'd have told KJU that should he attack the US, the US would be prepared to use military force.
The difference would be that it would not have been done provocatively or in public.

My worry is that NK launches a missile that hits the water close but not sufficiently close to Guam, for example, but stupid Trump starts a war regardless.

There is so much corruption throughout all the world's politics that if Trump was truly sorting out the corrupt old guard in the US then I, for one, would be pleased. But he's not! And I just cannot fathom how anyone can view him as a force for good! Even if I excused his sheer ignorance, I just cannot forgive him for playing with innocent people's lives by this war-mongering just to bolster his approval ratings and pretend to himself that he's a tough macho-male. Ugh! If he was a hard-working man of the people and understood the sacrifices so many have made to protect our freedom, it would be worth considering his stance but he's a whiny, ignorant, self-serving prick.
