DD's bottle has gone missing. Her brother has been taking them to random places around the house all week. I've searched all his usual haunts but can't find it any where. Where would an almost 2 year old put a bottle? We're in a standard 3 bedroom semi. I can't ask him as he's fast asleep.

Washing machine. Laundry basket. Behind the couch or the telly. In the bin. In a cupboard. In a pair of shoes.....

The list is endlessSad

hiyahen · 03/08/2017 20:13

My two year old's favourite hiding places are the washing machine, kitchen drawers, the bin, behind the couch and under the buggy. Hope you find it!

HooplaLoopla1 · 03/08/2017 20:15

When mine were that age, they used to love posting things back through the letterbox.

KindergartenKop · 03/08/2017 20:15

Under the sofa?

Heroicallylost · 03/08/2017 20:16

In the box of smartrike? (Bitter experience, keys lost for ages!)

Behind radiators, in kitchen cupboards, behind curtains, in toy oven, under furniture, behind sofa cushions...

MissCalamity · 03/08/2017 20:16

In her changing bag? Any other bags, shoes, coat pockets?

My toddler hid the remote control in the curtain once, God knows how it managed to stay halfway up there - that's why I couldn't find it!

Hope you get lucky!

PeppaPigObsession · 03/08/2017 20:17

My 2 year old likes to hide things behind the sofa where only she can reach!

Roseformeplease · 03/08/2017 20:17

Inside a boot or shoe.

Was he using it to "feed" some toys / pets?

In the bath / shower?

sphinxster · 03/08/2017 20:17

Checked and double checked! Letterbox isn't big enough.

I've crawled through the house at toddler height and can't see it.

The little bugger!!

Under the sofa.
Under the boiler.
In the bin
Fridge and freezer, it contains food so needs to be in fridge, cupboard, freezer, logical,

insancerre · 03/08/2017 20:17

In a bag or a box or something with a lid or a door

OrlandaFuriosa · 03/08/2017 20:18

With teddy. Teddy is hungry,

In pram/cot/ Moses basket

Laundry basket

SarcasticMrKnowItAll · 03/08/2017 20:18

Behind the TV? That's where I found my car keys after an hour long search Hmm

rabbitcakes · 03/08/2017 20:18

I found kiddo's bottle under the sofa today. It's been there a week. Wasn't there when I looked a few days ago Hmm

Try the sofa. Or the oven. Or recycling.

Catsick36 · 03/08/2017 20:18

Through the cat flap

DeadDoorpost · 03/08/2017 20:19

My sister used to have a stash of handbags that's she'd hide things in. Heaven help us if we managed to find one of those bags. It was like coming across a diamond mine.
I'd check all drawers, under pillows, the bathroom, outside in the garden, behind the TV, the oven. Even the fridge and freezer. Once found some odd things in those last 4....

Flowersinyourhair · 03/08/2017 20:19

Bags are where my 2 year old puts stuff. Any bag, any where...

AlpacaLipsNow · 03/08/2017 20:19

OMG this brings back memories of dummies stuffed into Fisher Price aeroplanes. The drama, the searching!

Possible places:
Basket under buggy
Toy box
Large toys that open like dolls house, bus with doors, planes etc.
Behind couch cushions.

Allthebestnamesareused · 03/08/2017 20:20

Can't you use the lost bottle as an excuse to no longer have one? You did say she was 2 so she should really be using cups by now.

AlpacaLipsNow · 03/08/2017 20:20

YY bags!

Sparrowlegs248 · 03/08/2017 20:21

Out of the cat flap. In the bin. In the toy box.

Dancinginthemidnight · 03/08/2017 20:21

Shoes, under the pram, in the pram, washing machine, tumble dryer, washing basket, toy box, fridge, cupboards.

kaytee87 · 03/08/2017 20:21

It's her DDs bottle not the two year olds. The two year old is the one who's hidden it.

Love it when people give completely unsolicited advice though...

Op I'd say; any bag, bin, toilet, couch cushions, under beds, with a teddy

sphinxster · 03/08/2017 20:21

We found it.. Well, DH found it in a place a swore I'd looked.

Shoe rack! Not hidden, just placed nicely next to the shoes.
