Neither - the title's an exhortation to move.

lionheart · 04/08/2017 13:24

This is cheerier, but it a bad way.

Lweji · 04/08/2017 13:24

Ahhhhh. There is a comma on the article, but not the link. I get it now. :)

PS: what was the deletion about?

lionheart · 04/08/2017 13:28

'Shortly afterward, the call ends in brusque fashion, and Turnbull presumably begins drinking heavily.' Gin

The Associated Press @AP
U.S. employers gains 209,000 jobs in July, a second straight month of robust gains; unemployment rate ticks down.

Im in Spain for a few days so will be heavily reliant on you lovely lot to keep me posted. As it's Friday, I can only imagine that there will be some significant information learnt this evening but I'm hoping my Rioja and sangria consumption renders me completely oblivious to anything other than tapas tonight Grin

MsHooliesCardigan · 04/08/2017 14:01

lionheart That Turnbull transcript is truly shocking. It sounds like someone trying to explain something to a 5 year old (who would almost certainly grasp the situation a lot quicker)

cozietoesie · 04/08/2017 14:07

Lweji

I don't think it was at all relevant to the topic.

cozietoesie · 04/08/2017 14:10

Good Luck, Pain. ( The worst wine I ever had in my life was in a little mountain cafe in Spain. (Mind you, the price was commensurate.)) Grin

Thanks cozie, although no more roaming charges has meant I'm twittering despite being in the airport Blush

I am flying solo and waiting for a connecting flight though, so
hopefully that doesn't make me too much of a loser, as our Donald is so fond of calling people.

TheNorthWestPawsage · 04/08/2017 15:29

Ooh! Have a lovely time Pain But no golf mind you. Grin

Lweji · 04/08/2017 15:38

I've been following both CFNs threads and feel the need to baptise Trump as CFP.
The council is thwarting CFNs and counsel will hopefully thwart CFP. Grin

PS: CF stands for cheeky fucking

PerkingFaintly · 04/08/2017 15:45

Me too, Lweji!Grin

It's been the happiest denouement day since the weekend that penguin bollards coincided with FuckYouChris's horse removal!

What is a grand jury and how serious is it for Donald Trump?

www.theguardian.com/us-news/2017/aug/04/what-is-a-grand-jury-and-how-serious-is-it-for-donald-trump

"Grand juries tend to be slow, running for months or even years." SAD.

cozietoesie · 04/08/2017 16:11

You'll note, though.

"Lawyers warn witnesses not to be lulled into over-confidence by answering a string of soft questions, and implore witnesses to consult with them before answering even seemingly easy questions. Unlike in ordinary courts, jurors are also allowed to ask questions."

I've never witnessed such hatred for a man who is willing to work for free to make his beloved country a better place. It is pathological.

He retweeted that.

This is a really old SNL piece but you might ........enjoy it. (It's about re-tweeting.)

Yay, suppression of journalists! Yay, propaganda! Yay, fascism!

Orlantina, that's chilling to the bone. Even if he doesn't succeed, expressing the desire to do it is still chilling to the bone. Shock

cozietoesie · 04/08/2017 18:02

A Beast piece.

aides pray Trump behaves

cozietoesie · 04/08/2017 18:05

A piece on that Sessions' threat.

Leak investigations

cozietoesie · 04/08/2017 18:45

I'd forgotten that the last administration also took a stance on 'leaks'.

Lweji · 04/08/2017 19:14

No administration likes leaks.
Even journalists would be furious if their own meetings and comments were leaked, I'm sure.

However, the leaks from the WH a) indicate that it's not working and there's no trust or loyalty, or b) serve a purpose that is not clear to us.
