'The Book Of Donald', Tweet 8. 28. Grin

OnTheDarkSideOfTheSpoon · 01/08/2017 10:43

I'm at work but looking forward to watching all the clips from the late night shows! Grin

ElenaGreco123 · 01/08/2017 10:45

I was on holiday for a week and missed all the news. Should I catch up or shall I just enjoy blissful ignorance?

cozietoesie · 01/08/2017 10:48

Did you even know that Spicey had been replaced, Elena? If not - and with his replacement nobbut a flicker on our screens - I'm not sure whether it's worth it for you.

Roussette · 01/08/2017 11:05

Someone tweeted that if you bought a pint of milk the day Mooch joined, it would probably still be drinkable when he left!

SetPhasersTaeMalkie · 01/08/2017 11:24

Those clips are hilarious. Grin

I love the Scaramucci poochie. Hahaha.

And Stephen Colbert singing. Grin

SetPhasersTaeMalkie · 01/08/2017 11:25

Poochie? I think I mean pooch.

May need another lie down.

PerkingFaintly · 01/08/2017 11:27

Pahahaha at Randy Rainbow.Grin That guy is ludicrously talented.

lionheart · 01/08/2017 12:02

Catch up quickly Elena because something else is sure to happen soon.

www.washingtonpost.com/news/the-fix/wp/2017/08/01/trump-aides-stunning-cry-for-help-admitting-the-president-misled-the-american-people/?utm_term=.642ae6c09bbc

''In this story, they're admitting that he is personally responsible for deliberately misleading the American people about a major topic of the Russia investigation. They're saying that he did something that could very well be construed as a cover-up and could damage his legal defense. The reason? Because they apparently can't prevail upon him in person and they think he simply doesn't get what kind of jeopardy he is putting himself in.''

Lweji · 01/08/2017 12:32

I am in the middle of listening to last night's Hannity (for entertainment and intelligence, well in its secret agent meaning, purposes) and apparently the Russian thing has been shown to be a lie.

The Uranium, though, and the emails, those are the real crimes. By someone who's not in charge of the US right now.

cozietoesie · 01/08/2017 13:08

There's someone who is in charge of the US right now?

cozietoesie · 01/08/2017 13:13

Ho Hum. A money view.

Coal company mentions Trump 13 times in IPO filing

lionheart · 01/08/2017 13:22

Hope they work fast because pinning their hopes on Trump is a huge gamble.

OnTheDarkSideOfTheSpoon · 01/08/2017 13:23

Cozie meant to ask about the link you posted yesterday about oil. Am I right in thinking that I was too optimistic thinking that America was taking a stand, if a somewhat ironic stand, against people degrading democracy etc and actually it was to restrict the supply of oil which in turn lead to US oil being sold for more?

It's all a bit depressing although I'm enjoying the mooch being taken down

OnTheDarkSideOfTheSpoon · 01/08/2017 13:33

Gah, first tweet I saw on twitter

Ubadah Sabbagh @Neubadah
America will no longer stand for democracy, not even fake it.

Gumpendorf · 01/08/2017 13:43

I'd opt for blissful ignorance, Elena. Wink

There has been a lot of noise: some of it scary and some massively entertaining in a WTF kind of way. Some staff have gone and some have come and gone. But nothing has really changed, Trump is still Trump and the world is still a dangerous place Angry

I hope you enjoyed your holiday SmileWine

TheNorthWestPawsage · 01/08/2017 13:46

Not happy lunchtime reading. Sad

2 US intel officials say North Korea apparently has capability to hit most of US with ballistic missiles.

BossyBitch · 01/08/2017 14:05

TheNorthWestPawsage, scary stuff - mostly because you can never tell what will happen when two insane clowns get into a confrontation.

I'm in Europe, luckily for me, but I do travel to the US very regularly for work. Time to hand this project off to someone less disinclined to perish in WWIII? Shock

cozietoesie · 01/08/2017 14:07

I'm possibly just too cynical, Pain.

cozietoesie · 01/08/2017 14:08

Although I'll grant you the existence of 'happy coincidences'. Wink

"President Trump himself reviewed drafts of the Fox News story just before it went to air and was published."

ummm what?

BossyBitch · 01/08/2017 14:20

President Trump himself reviewed drafts of the Fox News story just before it went to air and was published.

Surely not? Not because he wouldn't, mind, but because that would require him to have a slightly longer attention-span than a goldfish.

I'll remain sceptical on this one.
