Panty liners with lactic acid - WTF??

The perfumed ones are bad enough but now these? AIBU to want just good old unscented liners? Fortunately they're still available but seem few and far between!

I don't know anyone who uses these. I wonder if they are a bit generational; and in order to avoid dying a death, are desperately trying new things.

GeillisTheWitch · 21/06/2017 17:37

V-zone? Hmm FFS.

CuppaSarah · 21/06/2017 17:38

Ugh it's a nightmare, swapped to reusable because I'm sick of them adding tat to pads. I mean do these companies think vaginas will stop producing their various liquids if they don't invent exciting new features to them?!

Plus scented ones give me thrush.

Pawsbutton · 21/06/2017 17:38

V-zone? Do they mean vulva?

Hmm
KeiraKnightleyActsWithHerTeeth · 21/06/2017 17:40

I wish they would just provide well fitting, secure pads and stop trying to mess with our fucking vulvas.
What's the betting these companies are in bed with the companies who provide washes, topical treatments and suppositories?

KurriKurri · 21/06/2017 17:41

I am one of the ancient people who do use these kind of things Grin but I never want them scented or infused with God knows what. Why can't they just leave them plain.
There is no such thing as a V-zone - that is unmitigated cobblers. Who sits there thinking up this garbage ?

rizlett · 21/06/2017 17:42

Blimey - I almost confused V-zone with Vosene there.

Infusion??? Ah... I see... they make the tea as well.... classic.

I'm so glad they'll keep me at my best every day. Grin

Brittbugs80 · 21/06/2017 17:42

I've just switched to reusable. No chemicals or other rubbish are needed down there.

My friends wears a liner every day, pads when on, has a shower each morning and a bath each night where she uses a feminine wash on her bits plus uses feminine wipes on her nunny each time she has a wee.

She has a lot more cases of itching, thrush and infections than I do

MaidOfStars · 21/06/2017 17:43

V-zone.

Don't mention vulvas

KurriKurri · 21/06/2017 17:44

Has anyone anywhere ever gone to a doctor and heard the words 'I think you may need some lactic acid in your V-zone?'

LorLorr2 · 21/06/2017 17:49

Nobody asked for this! 😂
I'm happy with one that just stays on and has enough surface area without feeling bulky. I don't know where they got the idea we want added bells & whistles but someone must be buying them

Panga63 · 21/06/2017 17:51

What's with all the fancy undercarriage wash stuff that my daughter buys. Bloody marketing. Vaginas coped for centuries without 'em. Just shower and change your knickers daily FFS
It's hot. I'm grumpy Grin

chumpchange · 21/06/2017 17:52

V-zone GrinGrinGrin

So men have a ... P-zone? T-zone? Hmm

BreakfastAtSquiffanys · 21/06/2017 17:54

Surely mumsnetters have a C-zone? Grin

VerityHabitat · 21/06/2017 17:56

They made up a new euphemism? Do people get paid to make this shit up?

This way madness lies.

CaptainHammer · 21/06/2017 17:56

V-zone?! Wtf.

DurhamDurham · 21/06/2017 17:57

Showing my age now but when I was young we all watched 'V' on the tv so the V zone brings up a very different picture to the one intended.

GallicosCats · 21/06/2017 17:57

This belongs in the A-zone I suspect.

VerityHabitat · 21/06/2017 17:58

It's a "zone" - that is killing me. Like a parking zone or a travel zone. Hopefully it is a "low emission zone"

kali110 · 21/06/2017 17:58

I think i use these along with others.
I know on here scented pads are apparently the work of the devil but i likethem Smile

Aeroflotgirl · 21/06/2017 17:59

OMG what the hell! Noway! stop adding crap to our sanitary products, we don't need or want it. Bet the fantastic idea for scented pads or pads with added chemicals is initiated by the men.

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 21/06/2017 17:59

I prefer V Zone to vulva Grin

Aeroflotgirl · 21/06/2017 18:00

V zone GrinGrinGrin, don't you mean vulva you idiots, oh my god. Good thing I have an implant and don't have to use this rubbish, but if I did, I would be looking for the unscented and no chemicals pads.

Fluffyears · 21/06/2017 18:04

The scented ones make me itch like mad. I also hate the 'locks odour away' what fucking odour stop telling us our fannies stink. If yours does go to the clinic!

kali110 · 21/06/2017 18:06
