Reposting my last response on thread, too as it refers to the new lawsuit.

Lweji The Maryland and DC Attorneys General are state officials so Trump technically has no authority over them. But this is another lawsuit similar to the one just dismissed so I expect the DOJ will do the same.

The DOJ dismissing the previous lawsuit is an example of what I mentioned awhile ago; that the US Govt decides whether or not to allow a lawsuit against itself to proceed. The plaintiffs have the right to appeal and I hope they do.

Poor Melania & Barron (especially Barron). Summer break is supposed to be a fun time. Instead they're going to be cooped up with Scrotus. Can you just imagine what it will be like? Eurgh!

The lawsuits give me hope. It reminds me of one of those Godzilla movies when rampaging beast comes under attack from multiple directions.

The difference is that in the movie versions it's hard to not feel a little bit sorry for the beast when it is circled since it was only doing what it was born to do.
