So it must be bland, and boring and dull.

I loaded my cups into the wrong section of the dishwasher and DH was mildly annoyed.

Who is BU?

VladmirsPoutine · 11/06/2017 00:21

I think he is being controlling, thus you must LTB. Ask him to nip out for milk tomorrow morning then have the locks changed. You can load your cups however you fucking well like.

Salmotrutta · 11/06/2017 00:21

Oh! oh! we also had an argument about the garden.

He likes lobelia and I don't. He planted lobelias.

I think I need to ask MN if I should LTB.

Thank you Vladimir - as an aside may I ask if you are Russian or French Canadian?
It's not relevant to the thread but I feel I have to,ask.

Poutine is the food of the Gods if it is done correctly like the way they do it in Montreal where it was invented.

Did you load cups, mugs, glasses and tumblers all in together?

If so, yabu and he definitely has grounds to leave.

ExplodedCloud · 11/06/2017 00:28

I've taken DH to task today about his extreme kitchen tap angling. Too far back. It is not on.

elephantoverthehill · 11/06/2017 00:29

I threw the B out . I can stack the dishwasher however I please. I can even put it on when it isn't quite full

Salmotrutta · 11/06/2017 00:30

How dare you chitoffthe shovel!!

I am a long standing MNer who remembers Lemon Drizzle cake punching and Sharon.

I'll thank you to not take a man's side.

HoneyDragon · 11/06/2017 00:32

Mitmoo

Salmotrutta · 11/06/2017 00:34

Exploded - I see your tap angling and I raise you a car port.

An ever-increasing car port.

I'll say no more.

It might be outing.

OP posts:
chitofftheshovel · 11/06/2017 00:36

Ah, with this added info OP I think I know who you are. Car port you say. Does your name begin with a letter of the alphabet and you live in a U.K. Town?

VladmirsPoutine · 11/06/2017 00:36
Grin

Oddly enough I've never tried poutine. I just don't think all the ingredients could really go well together. A bit like a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. WTF is that about!

Salmotrutta · 11/06/2017 00:37

HoneyDragon - you are naughty.

Ha!

I say her name with pride!

I'm not afraid of MN!

A car port you say? Can I raise you a double garage with electric doors? Dear fuck I had to go berserk when he wanted a space for the holy exercise bike.

elephantoverthehill · 11/06/2017 00:38

Salmon is the carport expanding horizontally or vertically?

ExplodedCloud · 11/06/2017 00:39

Mitmoo says choose chaos

Salmotrutta · 11/06/2017 00:39

It's expanding in 3D.

I despair.

Explain poutain please? I always thought it meant a lady of the night Blush

Salmotrutta · 11/06/2017 00:43

I miss Mitmoo.

May I ask who remembers Beesimo?

She was utter quality. Genuinely.
A bit like scottishmummy

I miss them both.

OP posts:
WithCheesePlease · 11/06/2017 00:44

Poutain really? Sad Is that the chips and cheese curd stuff, yuck! Shock

Salmotrutta · 11/06/2017 00:46

Poutain is a "lady of the night"

Poutine is a combo of chips, gravy and cheese which they do in Canada. But actually the best Poutine is in French Canadian territories.

Because they invented it.

I had Poutine in Montreal.

It was delicious.

OP posts:
Mutiny0nTheBunty · 11/06/2017 00:48

I remember Beesimo and scottishmummy and GetOrf. Miss them all

I also remember Mitmoo (does saying the name ring a MNHQ klaxon? Like the sporn klaxon but less fun)

ExplodedCloud · 11/06/2017 00:49

I am choosing to blame autocorrect for that but it does highlight my confusion :)
I can get on board with cheesy chips but gravy is an abomination.

Salmotrutta · 11/06/2017 01:01

Poutine is absolutely delicious.

I was a complete sceptic before I tried it but now I am a convert.

The next time I am back in Canada it may be a year or two due to my awful relative by marriage I am going to eat it til the cows come home.

Salmotrutta · 11/06/2017 01:04

I am also annoyed at my DC's cat.

It's a wee shite.

I was popping in to check on it as DC was away last weekend and it decided I was a scratch post.
Little bastard.

OP posts:
ExplodedCloud · 11/06/2017 01:13

No I can't deal with the roast tatties + gravy and cheesy chips confusion. In an uncertain world my potato choices are a strong and stable choice. My French Canadian family were all about good coffee :)
