So it must be bland, and boring and dull.

I loaded my cups into the wrong section of the dishwasher and DH was mildly annoyed.

Who is BU?

YABVVVVU, It's your DHs dishwasher to you know. I would find it very difficult to share a house with you. I would suggest counselling for you both to see what's went wrong in the kitchen.

There's a Boring Thread?
Is that what "posting for traffic" means? I've been wondering for a long time.

Iris65 · 11/06/2017 16:10

I do however plan to put the cats' bowls in there but I envisage problems as my cats are lazy and entitled and will no doubt expect me to empty it every time

OMG Don't you know that the soap used in dishwasher tablets is fatal to cats? I cannot believe that anyone can live with a cat and not know this. You should be ashamed of yourself and I have reported this post to the RSPCA.
YABVU not unloading the dishwasher the minute it has finished. You said earlier that you have a cleaner everyday, both your kids are at boarding school and you spend all your time defluffing the skirting boards!

daisychain01 · 11/06/2017 17:15

salmo where have you been all this time, my sweet! I think it's on _Chat and started out with just an inoccuous comment about goodness knows what (the OPs lunch, laundry liquid, someh
Thing exteeeeeeemely boring) which then became 1000 post and then 5 more threads of sheer boredom ensued.

Anyway this thread is loooooooads nicer Grin and only marginally boring.

Haffiana · 11/06/2017 21:26

Salmotrutta in your last thread you said you lived in a top floor flat and didn't have a dishwasher OR a husband? Are you in fact a PBP pretending to be boring?

Salmotrutta · 11/06/2017 21:32

Did you advance search me Haffiana - I might have to report you Hmm

My DH is currently ironing in the kitchen while i am sitting drinking tea and eating lemon drizzle cake.

daisychain01 · 11/06/2017 21:51

I can vouch for salmotrotta she is definitely not pretending to be boring. She's genuine. And lovely with it. I'm even more so, boring that is - Birds of a feather and all that. I'm plain dull.

I just finished drying up. I have a dishwasher but decided to wash up by hand. It makes my evening more exciting.

daisychain01 · 11/06/2017 21:52

Sorry salmotrutta typo Shock

I love how frequently poutine comes up as a subject on mumsnet, makes me nostalgic for living in Montreal.

thereareworsethingsicoulddo · 11/06/2017 22:21

OP have my first Biscuit

iklboo · 11/06/2017 22:30

Don't get poutine & poteen mixed up. Last time I drank the stuff I woke up behind the couch & couldn't remember the word 'court' for two days.

elephantoverthehill · 11/06/2017 22:50

I was given poteen by a neighbour after I was burgled. The police suggested I spoke to all my neighbours to ask if they had seen anything. It ended up as quite a crawl, the pub was opposite the house, that was the starting point. Grin

@faithinthesound Mitmoo was a very notorious MN troll. He/she was banned not long before I joined back in 2007.
