fortyplus · 19/03/2007 13:21

What about McVities or whoever it is that makes Party Rings?

Or Mc Donald's?

Or Sony? 'My child will never have a Playstation' Yeah, right...

Mumsnetters are all mad... and I include myself in that!

doggiesayswoof · 19/03/2007 13:23

Hear hear (well, not the suing part obviously)

Lullabyloo · 19/03/2007 13:25

Bonkerz... no additives or colourings... but all sweetner cr&p still there.

I like party rings. They can stay

GRUMPYGIRL · 19/03/2007 15:01

They are foul but I cannot believe people get so het up about them. My children occasionally have them if we go out for a meal, so far they have not sprouted two heads or run about mugging old people...I have a couple of gins if I go out - theyre not good for me either!!

staceym11 · 19/03/2007 15:12

i love party rings!!!! dd not quite so impressed

well dont want mumsnet to be sued of course but im fed up of the fruit shoot arguement, my dd has one occasionally, and no second head here either (like that analogy GRUMPYGIRL!)

speedymama · 19/03/2007 15:14

I did not even know what a Fruit Shoot was until I came onto Mumsnet. After reading ingredient list, can't really understand the fuss, tbh, especially as those berating them probably drink wine. If they knew the natural chemicals that comprise wine, they would probably start hyperventilating with self-righteous indignation[hiccup].

IntergalacticWalrus · 19/03/2007 15:14

Frooooot shooooots are made by Britvic, I think

tissy · 19/03/2007 15:17

IGW, Britvics own Robinsons

twelveyeargap · 19/03/2007 15:43

Think I'll start a thread saying I'm going to bottlefeed my newborn on Fruit Shoots and wean her on Turkey Twizzlers at 3 months and serve uncut grapes at her first birthday party with Skips for dessert and see if I can start a row.

There's so much scope for trolling on these subjects you just have to laugh.

IntergalacticWalrus · 19/03/2007 15:43

Oh, ok.

That shut me up didn't it?

MrsSpoon · 19/03/2007 15:50

My kids genuinely (they have both tried them) don't like Fruit Shoots [proud Mummy emoticon].

staceym11 · 19/03/2007 15:51

mrsspoon, i dont blame them they taste foul!!! dd likes them tho! they make me wanna wrech!
