My ds likes full fat coke in his bottle when we go to macdonalds. For a special treat he also has a couple of puffs on a fag on the way home . And I always make sure we buy ready meals and then add extra salt, because you can't really have enough, can you? Oh, and if he is acting up I'll dip his dummy in brandy, just to settle him off to sleep.

Yes, I'm SO fed up with the constant anti-fruit shoot stuff. Anyway, I bet most of those people give their kids ribena and it's got all the same things in it.

Should just mention that I do use gravy granules, it's not because I can't make gravy, I can, it's just lazyness I suppose.

I have to make my own gravy, because DH can't eat MSG or yeast and both of them are in granules. I used to use them tho. Now I just don't bother with it at all, can't be arsed! (Oh, I am lazy!) Unless it's a special occasion, such as christmas and gravy is de riguer!

At first glance the only unnatural thing in there are the sweetners - aspartame and Acesulfame K. Everything else is natural e.g anthocyanins are natural food colouring, sodium benzoate is found naturally in apples, plums and cranberries.

I don't like the unnatural taste of sweetners so would not buy it.

Also, please remember, E numbers does mean that something is evil. Oxygen has an E number too.

In defence of Fruitshoots, when my DD has a temperature and I need to get her to drink when all she wants to do is feel sorry for herself, coke (diet, caffine free) and fruitshoots are great, as they are something we dont normally have and are more interesting than a glass of squash so she drinks them, sometimes 3 in a row (fruitshoots not coke) - so there!
