I've probably told this story before - but I used to have this older friend who herself had a friend who was a Sultan. (This was back in the days when being a sultan meant something: you were a seriously big cheese in your country.) Anyway, he was a purportedly religious man and the Quran apparently enjoining Muslims to have only 4 wives on this earth, he apparently married a fifth but set her up in a palatial houseboat in the bay.
