And it seems the Trump transition team PHOTOCOPIED classified docs and removed them from the SCIF.

Obama then limited their opportunities to dobthis as clearly an SCIF is a 4 Walls only environment and copies could go anywhere.

Just wanted to update about lovely bailiff. I sent him a text thanking him (something I'm sure he doesn't hear very often) and told him by that by showing some common sense and compassion, he probably avoided my patient being admitted to hospital which would have resulted in her children being placed in emergency foster care which would have been hugely traumatic for them and would have cost the state a hell of a lot more than the £600 my patient owes.
He texted me back to say that he is going to apply to train as a social worker next year. He was thinking about this anyway as a result of what he's seen doing his job but said that this particular incident really made his mind up. It's really made my day.

hoolies that is lovely! There is good stuff in the world. I am retraining as a mental health nurse starting uni in September after seeing the care my mum received from her amazing paliative care team. It is a scary because it is so different from my current job and will be a big pay drop, but I am so excited to be doing what I really want. What you do makes such a difference and not just to the people you support directly. It spreads like ripples in a pond and changes lives.

No new Surgeon General. The acting SG is actually not a physician, she holds a Doctorate in Nursing. She's the second non-doctor to hold the role (the first, oddly enough, was a Veterinarian). Personally, I don't think Trump will bother.

As far as I know, no new State's Attorneys have been appointed. But since they mainly function as prosecutors that doesn't surprise me, either. I'm sure it serves the regime's purpose to have our federal legal dept understaffed.

This Buzzfeed article on the leftist news websites is worth a read. It is interesting looking for at the similarities and also big differences between theses and the American alt-right websites. Personally I'm not sure I am a fan of the term alt-left to describe the pro-corbyn supporters, but I can see why it gets used particularly in relation to some of these sites.
