To have gone right off Idris Elba

After hearing him in the Sky ad extolling the virtues of HAITCH DEE.

I winced. I can never look at him in quite the same way again. Oh Idris, we could have been so good together. And you've ruined it.

Yeah, he's broken now. He can beg all he likes, I simply will not run off with a complete stranger who says haitch.

I've never been able to accept that it's actually aitch, ever since it was pointed out to me at uni.

And on the subject of Haitch-dee, I don't actually see any difference. I really don't believe there is one and it was just an excuse for DH to buy the biggest telly in the shop! but DH is adament the difference is staggering!

Haitch is just small fry...I heard him use a double negative a couple of years ago. It killed the lurve instantly...

Waterlemon, I can see very little difference between an ordinary programme and one filmed in HD, but both (adult) ds and dh notice. There was a thread about men seeing and women not a while back...
