To think Louisa Johnson's set on Comic Relief was highly inappropriate?

Comic Relief Lets's Sing and Dance tonight. Nice family viewing.

Except that they had Louisa Johnson on promoting her new single. She and her dancers are all very young, dressed in tiny skimpy shorts, singing about bad behaviour and dancing about with teddy bears. It also started with her lying on a bed full of sweets.

It left me feeling highly uncomfortable. I don't have an issue with women wearing what they feel comfortable in but the whole thing seemed to smack of some sort of advert for sex with young girls.

Can't find a link of the clip but should be on catch up.

Didn't see it but it sounds awful.

MycatsaPirate · 11/03/2017 20:40

It was. Girls with bunches and sort of baby doll shorts and cropped tops. Dancing with teddy bears, lots of baby pink and sweets. It was just yuck.

Was a shit song as well!

ButtercupChain · 11/03/2017 20:42

Do you have a link? Smile

MycatsaPirate · 11/03/2017 20:43

Song called Bad Behaviour. On a programme meant to be fundraising for kids affected by famine, abuse and god knows what else.

I am looking for a link but it was only on earlier this evening.

I thought that too. The first bit where she was lying on the bed looked like she was is a cot.

watchoutformybutt · 11/03/2017 20:46

It was grim.

Allthebestnamesareused · 11/03/2017 20:46

The outfits were no skimpier than Danny Boy's dance outfits or the Stepping Out cat's outfits.

The song was rubbish though and the celebs doing it for fun and as a laugh were better.

Gaaaah · 11/03/2017 20:46

I think she's shite. I've never warmed up to her.

MycatsaPirate · 11/03/2017 20:48

My bad, song is called Best Behaviour

Can't find a link but here's the picture from the show.

Thanks mycat, I will try to find it and come back to the thread. Smile

FriendofBill · 11/03/2017 20:49

What about smileys song where she was in a cot/nappy.

Don't know what is called? Vile fetishism of parodying babies and young children.

Grim

PerspicaciaTick · 11/03/2017 20:50

Just watched it back on iPlayer and it is very ewww. The bed of sweets actually looks like a cot with vertical bars at times. All about being a good girl and good behaviour.
Never, ever, ever would you get a male teenage popstar portraying himself as an ickle baby boy.

FriendofBill · 11/03/2017 20:50

Not Smiley.

Miley Cyrus

PerspicaciaTick · 11/03/2017 20:52

www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b08jmcj3/lets-sing-dance-for-comic-relief-2017-episode-2 it's about 1 hour 50 seconds in.

WillWorkForShoes · 11/03/2017 20:55

I just wondered why she was lying on loads of flying saucers. She's far too young to know what they are!

Only watched 20 seconds of it as I didn't like the song. Liked her last one though.

MycatsaPirate · 11/03/2017 20:59

PerspicaciaTick Thanks for the link.

And yes, totally agree. Wouldn't see the likes of Justin Bieber rolling about on a bed full of Jelly baby in hot pants and a crop top cuddling a fucking teddy wear while surround by young male dancers all cuddling bears. Because everyone would say 'wtf?'

Twitter is divided between men telling her to get her to stop singing and just take her knickers off and a mixed male/female bunch saying that it's just an advert for paedophiles.

How lovely for family viewing.

I just don't get this world sometimes.

Sigh.

ZackyVengeance · 11/03/2017 21:03

I was more upset by the sick and dying children

FannyWisdom · 11/03/2017 21:05

Who's let that through?

It's not the same BBC who did the excellent Japan child sex laws documentary with Stacey Dooley highlighting how pervasive this is, surely.

Or is Japan just worse because they are forrin

TinfoilHattie · 11/03/2017 21:05

Lying on a bed of sweets when they had just been showing a film of starving people and kids dying of malaria was in extremely poor taste.

Sallystyle · 11/03/2017 21:11

I was more upset by the sick and dying children

I think that goes without saying!

ComeOnSpring · 11/03/2017 21:17

My DCs were up (6 and under). So this is straight from the horses mouth..

Why is she lying down with teddy bears? She looks weird. Why is she only wearing her pants? I don't like her. I don't like her voice etc etc...

ZackyVengeance · 11/03/2017 21:18

I thought it was shite and odd
Thought that was cos im old,
