Yes, large numbers in a short time create a problem. But mostly because many other EU countries (and the US) aren't helping enough. And according to this report (Telegraph, not Guardian), for the asylum seekers themselves.
From what I read earlier, Sweden does have a problem with large numbers (well, 300) nationals joining ISIS, and with the almost half who've returned (regretful or moles?).
