Ginger - re BoJo, not for any terribly principled reasons I'm afraid, but largely to avoid paying tax on the sale of his Islington house (Guardian article here).

MOstly I don't blame him. I knew it was due to finances. My children are technically American citizens, even though they've never set foot there. They'll have to fill out tax returns and make reports for their savings all their lives to the US, even though they don't live there, don't work there, never been there. It's just wrong.

Waiting for the backlash. McCain is massive military figure - was a POW, very well known throughout the military, highly respected. Trump is likely to lose some serious standing with military people from these comments.

Re the Spice-spaining that "Anyone who one who suggests it was not a success does disservice to the life of Chief Ryan Owens"...

Anyone who refuses to consider the question of whether a mission was a success or failure and whether there were better options for "next time", does a disservice to the lives of servicemen and women who are still alive. A refusal to contemplate such questions puts their lives in jeopardy.

Yes, Pausing I suspect there are quite a few military people thinking that as well.
