There are loads of other threads. But MN aren't highlighting them. Why not? I demand to know.

Some are by national comedy shows. Others not so sure.

This conspiracy theory about Donald Trump makes sense. That's why it's so terrifying

Australia's is out already! Or at least, a video is out already

GingerIvy · 08/02/2017 10:29

oh I didn't see that! Thanks!

amispartacus · 08/02/2017 10:30

I can of find this statement ironic

"In an interview with the Guardian last autumn, the lawyer explained he was pressing on with the lawsuit because “[The Mail’s apology] came several weeks after they had published their original article, knowing that it was going to be republished by lots of different publications … there were hundreds and hundreds of publications that ended up reporting about this horrible lie that the Daily Mail had perpetuated. The damage had been done"

Someone with a platform says something untrue. Gets reported / tweeted out. Damage is done.

Just before I I trot off to bed for the night, I found this article to be some great light relief. Rediculous in fact! That actually hurt me inside to type

Just before I I trot off to bed for the night

For all the crap on the net, the fact that it is global is also very empowering. We are one world. We can make it better for all without trampling on others in the process.

Maybe...the Earth first...

(now that's a message for Trump.

This is a message from the people of the Earth)

People applying for a US visa could soon have to hand over their social media passwords

Now this is the kind of rumours that could get blown out of proportion.

HOWEVER:

Tactic - say something so outrageous that Spicer has to say that it is not true - so it's on record that the US Government will not ask travellers to provide their social media details.

(A Yes PM tactic - asking a question in the House to squash rumours)

PMQs soon.

Trump?
Brexit?
Turkey?
Speaker?
NHS?

Has anything been happening in the UK recently?

There may not be any investigations about Trump's conflict of interests while GOP has a House majority.
But, what if they lose it?
What if the next President is a Democrat and orders enquiries?

Could this be a further motive to hang on to power?

Could the judiciary prosecute Trump for conflict of interests?

Destinysdaughter · 08/02/2017 11:55

You know there's such a thing as compassion fatigue? I think I'm starting to experience 'outrage fatigue' as every fucking day there's more unbelievable, shocking and demoralizing stuff happening...

The India one is really sweet

"India is the only country who identified water on the moon"

cozietoesie · 08/02/2017 12:14

That India one is heavily barbed. Maybe the time has come for a subtle change of direction?
