I think it's appalling that DeVos might get in. A billionaire, millions of dollars donated to Trump's campaign, it absolutely stinks. At the moment it is 50 for 50 against, and 2 further senators have said they will come out against. Spicer was so cocky that she would get in. I pray not.

I watched her grilled interviewed and she seemed completely and utterly out of her depth. She comes from Michigan and has held Education posts there and there have been loads of protests against her getting this. They would know wouldn't they? She uses her fortune to undercut state schools apparently.

She has no expertise and will be making decisions affecting 50 million children. She is regarded as an enemy of state education, wanting to push charter schools run by for-profit companies. She has apparently decimated Michigan's schools.

I have everything crossed she will be scuppered at the last fence.

I have a theory.
