He'll probably claim the CIA made up the blackmail material - anything to avoid the embarrassment of admitting that maybe the Russians actually are interfering in US politics after all his denials.

If you'd asked me 10 years ago whether someone who was clearly backed by/in cahoots with Russia could win a US presidential race, I'd have said 'No way!'
