It's three and a half months till easter. What possible reason could there be for the supermarkets to have hot cross buns and easter eggs already?

They are all year long.

They are available year round.

Supermarkets near me sell them year round.

I do wonder who the fuck has space to store Easter eggs for months - it's not like they're compact.

I love spiced buns and would gladly eat them all year. But why do they need the crosses on? Just sell sticky spiced fruited buns.
