I've seen him in a few things but don't think he's very good. E.g. The Missing at the moment.

Everyone else seems to love him.

I love him. Brilliant actor. And I totally would.Grin

LtEsmeHansard · 10/11/2016 00:31

I love him. He was so perfect as Colonel Brandon in Sense and Sensibility, that's when I first started rating him.

OhBlissOhJoy · 10/11/2016 00:34

I've had a crush on him since he was in "One Summer" in 1983. So 30+ years. I'll fight all of yous for him.

furlinedsheepskinjacket · 10/11/2016 00:36

he is the same character in pretty much everything :)

polyhymnia · 10/11/2016 00:39

I absolutely love him and think he's a very good actor, though am not watching the Missing.

polyhymnia · 10/11/2016 00:40

Was fab in Blackpool alongside David Tennant.

MargotLovedTom · 10/11/2016 00:43

He was in a drama a few year's back called Five Days with Suranne Jones as one of his police colleagues. At one point his character says to hers in a pub, after an intense conversation, and even more intense lingering gaze: "I suppose a fuck's out of the question?"

Talk about fanny gallops and no, it wasn't out of the question.

If you'd seen that scene you'd not be posting your OP Wink Grin.

MargotLovedTom · 10/11/2016 00:44

Oh, and I think he's a good actor as well....

CozyAutumn · 10/11/2016 01:14

I don't like him because of his horrible character in The Walking Dead. But I guess that shows how good of an actor he is! Smile

CheshireSplat · 10/11/2016 01:26

I thought I might be. Thanks furlined he's even the same character when he's playing himself.

But in the spirit of AIBU I'll have to concede that AIBU.

Or IABU. Blimmin' autocorrect. I still don't get it though. I think he's really wooden

CheshireSplat · 10/11/2016 01:28

poly you should watch The Missing. It's really good.

HelenaDove · 10/11/2016 01:30

AlchemySchmidtsSmile · 10/11/2016 02:07

He was fab in a Tardis special but he was utterly brilliant in State of Play

e1y1 · 10/11/2016 02:13

e1y1 · 10/11/2016 02:14
