The first one and the last one were fine. The last had a particularly daring escape.
It was very tense!

Mummyme1987 · 07/11/2016 19:37

I couldn't look. Had to rewind and watch the sloth again to recover!

ArmySal · 07/11/2016 19:38

It's my nightmare tonight Sad

bibbitybobbityyhat · 07/11/2016 19:38

I agree that the movement of those snakes would make an effective scene for a horror film.

So much so I looked away a few times!

Okkitokkiunga · 07/11/2016 19:39

I couldn't watch it all. Shudder.

FourToTheFloor · 07/11/2016 19:41

It was worse than watching a who-dunnit for edge of the seat!

And then the poor bird sitting on her cracked egg Sad

Horrible snakes! And the poor wee bleeding penguin and the baby bird that was killed by the nasty tree and the crabs being killed by the acid ants 😱😱😱😱

Nature has no emotions eh?

SailingThroughTime · 07/11/2016 19:43

That bird thing was awfully sad. The evilfucker bird didn't even eat the egg.

raspberrysuicide · 07/11/2016 19:43

We were all cheering him on! So pleased he managed to get away.

ElspethFlashman · 07/11/2016 19:43

I felt faint afterwards. No lie.

I read that they're not going to show any dying penguins anymore though cos the viewers can't take it. So at least that's something. Confused

PikachuSayBoo · 07/11/2016 19:45

I couldn't believe how many snakes appeared from nowhere? Why the fuck was the igunana in the beach if it's snake territory?

Maudlinmaud · 07/11/2016 19:45

I have FOMO!!!!! What is this you speak of?

yourphone · 07/11/2016 19:47

Why the fuck was the igunana in the beach if it's snake territory?

It had just hatched from the sand!

It was brutal eh? The bloodied penguins, the dead birds, nature is pretty shit!

AutumnLeavesAgain · 07/11/2016 19:48

I thought it was more disturbing than the killer whale a few Years back. Maybe because humans have more to fear from snakes?

murmuration · 07/11/2016 19:48

DH and I had discussed waiting and watching it with DD (4yo) later as I remember really enjoying Life on Earth at about the same age (just checked - I would have been 5). SOOOOOooo glad we decided to ahead and watch it ourselves!

And the poor, poor bird :(

But the panoramic shot of the penguins at the end b/w rousing music....ohh goddddd.

EMOSH 😪

Bejazzled · 07/11/2016 19:49

The baby iguanas hatch and then have to immediately make a break for the shoreline. Only there's 5 million bleddy snakes hiding and waiting to chase them down. The ones that got caught were squeezed to death.

PikachuSayBoo · 07/11/2016 19:49

I'm watching now, just on the penguin bit.

PikachuSayBoo · 07/11/2016 19:50

Well I think Mummy Iguana should find somewhere safer to lay eggs.

Bejazzled · 07/11/2016 19:50

baby 😁
