I'm probably going to be slated for this, as being really ungrateful! However, those flowers are headbands BlushShock

Those shoes...

I feel sooo mean, but I know they'll be expecting a nice photo of her in them on Facebook!

Dress her up, take photos, put them on facebook with a custom setting so only they can appreciate the horror beauty and then donate to charity.

Take a photo of your baby wearing them and send it privately to them, thanking them for the lovely gift.
The relatives didn't have to get baby anything, yes they might not be to your taste but at least they bought something

Tarla · 09/10/2016 21:14

Put them on her, take some photos, send them the photos and then charity shop what you don't want.

I like the knitted ones, they're sweet.

Mysterycat23 · 09/10/2016 21:14

Awkward!

rudetops · 09/10/2016 21:15

I agree, the thought is lovely.

Ah, yes... The handy settings, so only they can see Grin

Offendedposter · 09/10/2016 21:16

Well, that's the last time I buy anything for you!!!! Confused

PickAChew · 09/10/2016 21:16

The knitted Mary Jane bootees are really sweet. Maybe post a pic of her chewing one? (Because that's all that's ever done with them)

The rest makes me want to sneeze. The "flowers" look like body puffs. Write a note and say they made your favourite shower gel lather up beautifully :o

TwentyCups · 09/10/2016 21:16

Send them a nice photo, and never wear again.
If it gets mentioned 'it's such a shame but baby keeps trying to yank them off/ cries when I put them on her! I've tried but she just won't keep them on!'

ShallNotBeNamed · 09/10/2016 21:17

Oh dear!

1potato2potato3potato4 · 09/10/2016 21:17

Ahh some of the booties are sweet

VinoTime · 09/10/2016 21:18

I like the booties!

The rest is a bit...wow! Grin

Soubriquet · 09/10/2016 21:18

Is that genuine offended or joking?

DeadGood · 09/10/2016 21:19

The knitted ones are cute.

Booties are useful because the ribbon at the ankle holds them in place on the chubby little foot. So they have a place, sort of, even though they look dated.

The pink frilly ones though...

SpeckledyBanana · 09/10/2016 21:19

I love the fake shoe booties. Almost worth having another baby just for them.

followTheyellowbrickRoad · 09/10/2016 21:19

I love the knitted ones! Not keen on headbands. But as the others have said I would take a couple of pics. I would say thankyou the head bands are lovely, but dd hates things on head, just incase they buy her more.

SpeckledyBanana · 09/10/2016 21:19

The knitted ones, I mean. The lacy ones don't look comfy.

rudetops · 09/10/2016 21:20

Soub, I'm wondering too...

Yes, I suppose they could be quite sweet

OP posts:
TallulahTheTiger · 09/10/2016 21:20

Love the booties- headbands not so much!

HenRah · 09/10/2016 21:22

What's wrong with them for gods sake

Solongtoshort · 09/10/2016 21:23

I like the the booties, but omg the flowers. I have a an 11 month old and one of the flower head bands my cousin gave as a present is still bigger than her head.

Soubriquet · 09/10/2016 21:23

I hope you haven't hurt someone's feelings there OP...

Fingers cross offendedposter comes back and clarifies

WorkingItOutAsIGo · 09/10/2016 21:23

Did they hand knit the booties? That's very special if so. Yep, couple of photos, job done.

Ginkypig · 09/10/2016 21:23

You could get wear out the booties but the hair bands will probably slide off all the time.

camena · 09/10/2016 21:23

Aww that's so sweet. We had some relatives who sent some similar stuff, we photographed DD in it and sent it to them. I still think it's lovely that they cared enough to send it, even though DD never actually left the house wearing it!
