To expect my neighbours to bring my bin in?

Just arrived home from work, 6pm. It's bin day and like every week none of my neighbours (all retired but fit and well) bring my bin in. It's always left on the street causing obstruction.
I just know that if I was at home all day everyday id ring someone else's bin in if they were at work all day.

My neighbours do bring my bin in, mainly because they have to shift mine to get to theirs. I'm grateful, and I return the favour if I'm at home on bin day, but I'd never expect it.

I don't like bringing my own bin in let alone my neighbours but I would do it for special occasions like if they were away and they asked me to, I wouldn't do it every week though and I certainly wouldn't expect it

I wouldn't ever expect to bring another person's bin in - why would you? I wouldn't expect them to bring mine in either and would be quite put out if they did. How odd!

We bring each others bins in and although I don't expect it, I'd be surprised if it was left out on the path all day.

We do have good neighbours though - help each other with jobs, borrow bits and pieces, give food away before we go on holiday, etc.

Yabu. However ywouldnbu to want the bin men to take your bin in because well ffs they are bloody bin men and they should. I know they don't any more and we all seem to have got used to it but really it's a bit fucking shit to have bins all over the path blocking the way for people with mobility problems or even just people with kids in buggies.

I always push empty bins back for people as I walk along, it makes it easier for prams to pass. Why wouldn't anyone do that? It takes seconds.

Simply because nobody does owt for nowt these days. If someone had taken your bin in they would have billed u a fiver for doing it likely!!
