Beginning to get pissed off by all these predictive text/autocorrect mistakes

Just opened about 4 different threads and auto correct/predictive text mistakes in the first few comments not making sense at all.

I'm not bothered by spelling/grammar mistakes because a majority of the time a sentence still makes sense if you've spelled something wrong. These new autocorrect and predictive text mistakes alter a whole sentence.

It's just ironic that something that's been invented to make typing easier and clearer makes it worse.
I also hate the hilarious (!) comments that follow an autocorrect error...or the obligatory "bloody autocorrect!"...just check before you post ffs.

Autocorrect is an absolute bloody pita! Just goes to show how superior the human brain is to any programme.

NeedACleverNN · 05/06/2016 12:14

No cos 95% of the time it does help.

Oysterbabe · 05/06/2016 12:14

You are being unseasonable.

Highlandfling80 · 05/06/2016 12:16

My auto correct knows google

It's typical though. When ever an autocorrect thread comes up, it behaves perfectly. When I want to write a long paragraph of importance it fucks up Angry

QuimReaper · 05/06/2016 12:23

Yam definitely bum!

Buttock · 05/06/2016 12:24

Today I saw someone type "Siamese buns"...I thought they were a real thing Hmm...then I realised it was a sesame bun.

MrsJayy · 05/06/2016 12:28

Leigh1980 · 05/06/2016 12:30

My boss is Jewish and I nearly sent a text which had autocorrected itself to "I hate our Jews!😳😳😳😳 instead of "I hate our new". Luckily I spotted it before sending as that would have been mega awkward 😂😂

StUmbrageinSkelt · 05/06/2016 12:32

My old phone autocorrected DH's name to Greed.

My new one doesn't. I miss Greed.
