To ask how much money you have left...

After paying for essentials each month? So after paying your rent/mortgage, food and bills, travel and if applicable childcare, what's left 'spare' for socialising, buying clothes, going out etc etc. And are you able to save much?

DP thinks we don't have much money left after bills, I think we have more than enough and I likely more than the average person. If it's not too completely rude to ask, would you mind sharing what you have spare? Thanks so much

I'm not sure tbh as our bills fluctuate a fair bit but we give ourselves £300 a month each after bills (except mobile) and any left over goes into savings and holiday fund.

We are both decent, above average yet not higher tax rate earners but have a fairly high mortgage (£1K per month)

Sorry meant to add so I imagine our disposable income is higher than most.... Although it's about to take a big hit as going on mat leave no 2 soon

After bills, food and petrol its around £700-£800

one of our wage goes on direct debits (mortgage, insurances, water, tv, gas leccy, road tax, chidlcare) and the other is left for food, transport (petrol for me and travel pass for dh), and nicities.

Both salaries are 1200pm each. We cannot get out of our overdraft which we went into when I was on my second mat leave. Fingers crossed we will be out of it mpre reliably within six months.

If there are 4 Fridays in a month we have around £450 left over, if there are 5 then we have around £750 ish.

About £2000

Between £1.5k and £2k a month. We could save £2.5k a month if we really tried but we enjoy daily coffee(s) at work each, eating out a few times a week and don't really skimp on groceries on average that's about 1/3 of our combined salary that's saved after everything (including pensions and overpaying the mortgage), which I don't think is a bad effort really.

Currently less than £200, most of which I spend on clothes, haircuts, presents for others, the odd coffee here and there

Somewhere around £1000 a month on average. It depends on how much overtime DH does the previous month.

Between £1000 and £2000 a month

Me personally, about £1000. Not sure about DH's cash. We keep our own money daily separate these days.

Between £400 to £700 depending on overtime and bonus paid and we try and save around £200 a month.

At the moment about 1000 after all standing orders (1200 odd) and food/fuel of around 500. We save most of it for different things, the rest goes on the usual kid/house/car related things. Dh is leavibg his job soon to set up on his own so pretty soon this figure will prob be £0 for a while!

MINUS about £400 a month if we are careful. We are a bit fucked since dh lost his job last May.

Around £1500-£1800 a month but savings come from that.

About £50. But it's not so bad. Can't miss what you never had and we're happy and healthy and working towards better jobs so I shan't complain.
