Boring but necessary thread! I just want to find a reliable, non clumpy, mid price range mascara for every day use. It's become a mission, can anyone help me please?!

I'm a mascara fiend. I buy at least one a month and genuinely, the best one I've had for a long time is Boots Natural Collection - £1.99.

Failing that, Max Factor False Lash (although it's a bit stabby on the eyelids)

TurnWifiOn · 10/11/2015 22:27

Boots no.5

AlwaysHope1 · 10/11/2015 22:29

Loreal telescopic - love it.

ChristmasZombie · 10/11/2015 22:30

I love Maybelline Great Lash.

hefzi · 10/11/2015 22:32

Bellapierre - buy it from eBay and you can get it delivered for around £5 or £6: it's recently been included in various beauty boxes etc, so there's usually a fair few for sale from private sellers (Ditto for Eyeko)

WastedEffort · 10/11/2015 22:40

They're real! Benefit .

biscuitkumquat · 10/11/2015 22:40

I've got the Benefit Roller Lash mascara, and it really is fantastic.

Not sure how much it is though because I got it for my birthday.

NuggetofPurestGreen · 10/11/2015 22:42

Revlon Fabulash.

katemiddletonsothermum · 10/11/2015 22:42

I don't use mascara - I have eyelash extensions and they're bloody lovely! They look very natural and it's brilliant to stumble out of bed, comb my hair and look vaguely presentable with barely any effort.

ZenNudist · 10/11/2015 22:43

Watching. I'm a Dior fan but would like brown or navy without breaking the bank.

chumbler · 10/11/2015 22:46

Ysl babydoll... Ok not mid range but it's AMAZING!

Rpj16 · 10/11/2015 22:48

Clinique do the best mascaras IMO. And they don't irritate eyes :) can't remember how much they are, as mine has lasted for ages!!

BlueBlueBelles · 10/11/2015 22:49

Max factor false lash effect. Amazing.

Cerseirys · 10/11/2015 22:51

Maybelline and L'Oreal are owned by the same company and have some of the best mascaras around.

MsVestibule · 10/11/2015 22:58

I used Benefit They're Rael but wouldn't recommend it - it smudged on my browbone really quickly, for no reason that I could ascertain but was difficult to remove.

Clinique High Impact is my favourite, costs about £20 I think.

XL · 10/11/2015 23:00

Max factor masterpiece max

PaulAnkaTheDog · 10/11/2015 23:02

They're Real! Benefit.

Cornwalldoula · 10/11/2015 23:04

Rimmel waterproof. Non-clumpy, doesn't smudge, easy.

SinisterBumFacedCat · 10/11/2015 23:09

Avon Supershock mascara

I did one eyelash with Avon Supershock and one with benefit They're Real and DS said he preferred the Avon disclaimer he may have just said that to get a biscuit

Avon like to do limited edition packaging so it means they sell them off in the sale regularly

memyselfandaye · 10/11/2015 23:23

Max Factor waterproof false lash effect is bombproof, and you do need an oil based remover.

If a nuclear bomb drops on me I'm sure my eyelashes will be left intact Grin

pandarific · 10/11/2015 23:24

TheSeptemberIssue which Natural Collection mascara is it?

Max Factor masterpiece max is my holy grail - I was very disappointed by Benefit They're Real. My eyelashes are long and blonde, but fine, and it just stuck them all together!

TheSeptemberIssue · 11/11/2015 06:21

Pandarific - it's the LashLength one. White tube.

PunkrockerGirl · 11/11/2015 06:26

I got the new Glamour mag with the free Clinique mascara. I'm a bit meh, tbh. It's ok but I certainly wouldn't rush out buy a full sized one.

Kintan · 11/11/2015 10:03

Benefit's They're Real gets my vote.

BringMeTea · 11/11/2015 10:39

I cannot wear any mascaras except the tubing ones. No idea why. My particular annoyance was Bobbi Brown's 'No smudge' which did just that within 10 mins. Not a particularly oily faced person. In the cheaper end I can highly recommend the No7 one in the gold tube. It has even overtaken Estee Lauder double wear in my affections. Very, very good.
