This is what happens when you're bored in the herbs & spices section of the supermarket. Not something I've done, but I'm very tempted!

NationMcKinley · 17/09/2015 18:41

Frankie that wasn't on the IoW by any chance was it? I did the exact same thing at Robin Hill a few weeks ago. DM was very disapproving Grin

NewLife4Me · 17/09/2015 18:44

I love these, they are all brilliant.
I'm going to do some myself now. Grin

pluck · 17/09/2015 19:25

Beryl, you Star Anise!

dodobookends · 17/09/2015 19:47

Dos anyone else think that there might soon be some rather paranoid shop managers sending their staff round to check their displays just in case the MN'ers have been in?!!

TheTravellingLemon · 17/09/2015 19:55

These are hilarious. I don't need any shopping, but I might go tomorrow anyway Grin

FattyNinjaOwl · 17/09/2015 20:29

lemon you should! You can spell out "ninja" Wink

MsAdorabelleDearheartVonLipwig · 17/09/2015 20:42

Aaaarrgh, we were in the Isle of Wight a few weeks ago and ran out of time to do Robin Hill. Bugger.

I'm confused about the till divider thing. Do you just mean you lay it flat instead of standing it up? Cos I'm sure ours are triangular and are the same either way. Confused

Garrick · 17/09/2015 20:51

No, you lay it parallel to the sides of the conveyor :)

FinnMcCool · 17/09/2015 20:58

The person behind you in the queue always feels the need to move it back to be lying across the conveyor as it takes up less room on the belt.

TheTravellingLemon · 17/09/2015 20:59

Fatty Grin. But probably nobody would notice!

MsAdorabelleDearheartVonLipwig · 17/09/2015 21:02

Oh I see.

That would irritate me too. Grin

elephantoverthehill · 17/09/2015 21:03

The IOW seems to be rather targeted a the moment. DS2 and I will be ready with the shop shelves when you venture back next summer. Well it might improve his spelling. We have all winter to practise.

5Foot5 · 17/09/2015 21:07

Hee hee!! The best I could manage was some cushions in Arighi Bianchi which had been arranged to spell LIVE so it was the work of moments to make it EVIL.

TBH if someone did the divider thing in front of me I would correct it too. Not because it freaks me out but because it takes up more space when the wrong way and if I am doing a big shop I want the space to put my shopping on so I can get it all out of the trolley before it starts getting scanned through.

NationMcKinley · 17/09/2015 21:43

This is brill. Anyone remember cake punching? This is even better (and less destructive) Wink

AlpacaPicnic · 17/09/2015 22:01

The first time I did the till divider thing, DH went to move it 'tidy' and I literally snarled "leave it" under my breath at him! He yanked his hand back like a snake had appeared on the conveyer belt!

Samiam123 · 17/09/2015 22:14

YY Nation, spice-words is the new cake punching!

tiredvommachine · 17/09/2015 22:23

I neeeed to get on this tomorrow! Grin
